A Portable "Ounce Of Prevention"
My ex husband lost pretty much everything in a fire a number of years ago. The few photos and items that survived, which were quite scorched, were in a metal filing cabinet. So when I saw this set I got it to use it as a "Belt and Braces" approach to document protection.I'm still sorting out what will go in these but basically I want to keep all my marriage certificates/passports/precious photos/important personal info in this as well as my external back-up for my computer and a few other essentials that I would hate to lose. THEN I will put this inside the metal filing cabinet that I have in my office. The concept is that between the two things I hope everything will survive 100% intact rather than scorched. I may purchase another to put things like Baby Albums and other photo albums in.I can't vouch for how well this will do. They claim that each individual item can withstand 2,000 degrees for 3-5 minutes and all 3 combined would hold up for 15-20 minutes. IMO that renders the individual cases useless but combined, esp with putting them into the metal cabinet, I'm hoping that *IF* I ever really get to test these (and I hope I don't!) I think they will give everything as much of a chance as possible without purchasing a really expensive safe, while also being far more easily grabbed if I can get to them on the way out the door.

Worth the Price!! Will Keep My Documents Safe!
I purchased this item because living in Southern California, we get earthquakes here and there pretty often. To prep for the big earthquake that might come anytime, I've searched throughout Amazon to find a durable document bag where I can store all my important documents just in case some sort of natural disasters such as earthquake happen which may lead to houses burning down and all sorts of unpredictable scenarios. I've came upon Zataye fireproof bag, so I decided to give it a try. The price is very reasonable in my opinion. When I received the bags and opened it, I immediately knew I can depend on these bags to save my important documents. It's very heavy duty and sturdy. I even tried to you a lighter to go around the bags and nothing happened. The material that was made was for sure waterproof, so I didn't give that a try. Overall I am very satisfied with Zataye fireproof bag and I even bought an extra set for my sister.

Like it ... but ...
I really like the size, and the material looks durable. The only thing I don't like is that the zipper of the small bags doesn't close all the way. There's a gap, and it's supposed to be completely closed. This makes me doubt of the usefulness of the small bags. I don't feel secure using those bags alone; there's no difference between those and a regular zipper. The big bag looks really sturdy, durable, and the zipper closes completely! Great one!

Simply perfect for peace of mind
We weren't as concerned about theft as we were fire protection for some important things. This bag is great. It holds a lot, but is light enough to carry if we need to leave the house quickly. It also keeps important things together if family members needed to get them. Fireproof boxes seemed to be so heavy for a small amount of storage, and not durable. This seems to be very well made. I would definitely recommend getting the larger size. There's always one more thing you think of to put in, and it's still not too big to store conveniently, or carry. I use the smallest bag for jewelry, and the other small bag for emergency cash.. just in case there is a fire.

Nice set of bags for important documents
This set was purchased as a gift for my uncle. He had all of his important documents stored in a dresser drawer. He absolutely loves them and how spacious they are. They’re made of a really good quality of material. He can use them to store all of his Important documents and keep them in one safe place. At first I was kind of skeptical of the price but I now feel this was well worth it as it gives him a piece of mind as well as myself. There’s no doubt that this set will protect his most important documents from any fire or water damage if an emergency happens.

Appears to be great quality
I tried them on the stove and although they got warm, there was no sign of burning. Three great sizes. They are great for file folders, jewelry, sock drawer money, etc. There was seem to be an odd film or feel to them if you handle them a lot, but I don't plan to. I keep them in the safe and am confident they will do what they should. The zippers were good, but I also added some zipper lubricant that I had from an extreme cooler and it worked great. Would buy again, and have already given as a gift.

Peace of mind for imporant documents
Our most important documents had been lying on a shelf in our safe. Now they are organized in the roomy x-large bag. Passports fit perfectly in the smallest bag. We live near the water where hurricanes are a threat so the idea of having our most important paperwork protected from water in a bag that we could grab and go in case of evacuation is huge plus! These bags a thick and durable. Hope we will never have to test them out in a real emergency, but having them gives us extra peace of mind.

seems like it should do what they claim.
I bought this product so that we'd have something to protect our most valuables. We've not been thru a fire or thru the water, so I'm not sure I can say too much. It does seem like it should work. It is very thick and seems to be well made. I guess I should try it somehow. If I find out anything more, I will up date this.
