It works like it should and the price is right.
A good piece for the home mechanic but probably not sturdy enough for a heavy duty commercial garage. I use it to keep a few cars and motorcycles tuned and I don't toss my tools around.

works great for outboard engines.
Able to set my boat timing on the outboard motor now. Worked great. Found the timing was at 28 degrees Before Top Dead Center, should be set at 22 degrees. Glad i didn't burn a hole in my pistons...

me gusta hacerle mantenimiento al vehiculo y hacerle la afinacion.. con esta pistola coloco la chispa excactamente donde es y no hay equivocaciones y es muy facil de usar

This timing light stopped working after one use I strongly suggest spending a little more for a better quality product.

It doesn't work
I had to laugh at the rating for "light weight". Of course it gets five stars- this thing has nothing in it but a random blinking light! (sarc).So, for the technical aspect of this piece of equipment: It is a piece of junk- But what do I know? I have only been working on cars for 50 years (back when timing lights were a REQUIRED tool in every mech tool box). This thing jumps all over the place with the timing- the light flashes WAY too many times per crank revolution. The timing mark on the balancer was never in the same place twice. Save your money and spend more for a quality unit. I just wish I had not sold all my tools because I had a really nice one from Sears- when Sears used to be good... ***Sigh*** Obviously I miss the 'good old days' ha ha

Got the job done, but wouldn’t recommend. Had to do lots of weird turns and angles to get it to read the spark wire. However, it’s cheap and you can’t expect too much. If you need one in a pinch I guess it’s good.
