Great quality, Amazing value, Very easy install, No negative affect on performance!
I was a little nervous at the idea of putting my NVMe in an adapter - but my motherboard only has space for one on board and that was already taken, but I wanted to add a larger second NVMe drive. It was very easy to put the drive inside this adapter and the performance was actually higher than I was expecting! So if you have a situation where you want NVMe performance, but don't have an available slot - this is a perfect solution.

Works fine, good price
Not much too these little adapters and over read reviews where people say the cheapest one work the same and the most expensive ones. This one liked exactly like some of the more expensive ones and I bet they are made at the same factory in China. It came with extra screws and a little screwdriver. It comes with the heat sync closed and the little screws were really tight but of you press really hard you should not strip them out, just be careful.

Works as advertised, very simple, easy installation. Has blue LEDs.
I really like the simplicity and look of this adapter, along with the cheap price. Probably the cheapest you are going to find. On top of it being delivered VERY quickly (Within 2 days). As far as the technical details, I got the full speed of my m.2 NVME drive (It was a WD BLUE SN550). Remember that m.2 NVME drives require 4 data lanes to operate at full speed (4x, which is good for compatibility as almost all motherboards, even older ones, can support this), and also an 8x or 16x PCI-e slot is NOT going to give you more speed... This is a very big misconception I see people review and complain about the product when it just does NOT work like that. Your device is only as fast as it operates. It is like complaining that your mechanical 5000RPM HDD doesn't run as fast as your SSD (And they use the same SATA interface). The only thing an x8 or x16 lane can offer is if it can do bifurcation, then you could run x2 NVME drives on an x8, and x4 on an x16 lane. Your motherboard has to support that. (Google and learn before going all out). I knocked off a star because it was commented that this board did NOT have LEDs (Which is why I chose this one). It does in fact have FOUR bright blue LEDs that indicate the drive read/write. I do not like this for cosmetic purposes, and I could complain that it is a little energy waste... The heat-sink that it comes with does cover them, but I wanted to use it without the heatsink. It also did not come with any instructions, and any information is hard to find online (Although it is pretty straightforward if you consider yourself tech-savvy with this). Besides that; it's cheap and affordable, low-profile/small, looks decent, packaged well, and gets the job done.

Works well in a MacPro4,1 upgraded to 5,1.
Installed this in my Mac Pro Tower 4,1 (flashed to 5,1) and using a 1TB ADATA XPG SC8200 Pro NVMe SSD as a Boot Drive running Mojave with a Radeon RX-580 Graphics Card. Some initial instability, but now apears to be rock solid once I reseated the adapter in the second (16x) slot. As with my previous OWC SATA 3 PCIe card, I had to put a small felt spacer between it and the graphics card to provide enough clearance for the RX 580 fan to spin freely. Not as fast as this NVMe card could actually go, but still 3 times the read speed of the SATA 3 SSD I had in it and over 10x the write speed at ~1500MBps on both due to limitations of PCIe 2.0 4x interface - whereas a bridged card would be required to max out this particular NVMe card speed of ~3000MBps on these Macs on the PCIe 2.0 16x lane slot.

No frills, but works very well with my Corsair MP510 240 GB device
I liked the package in which the device arrived: very sturdy! Also 4 spare heat-sink screws supplied, and the tiny screwdriver needed. I suspect that with a faster M2 device e.g. Samsung EVO 960, the full speeds would be achieved: With my MP510 achieved 1626 MB/s Read AND 1052 MB/s Write. No drivers were needed, even though my motherboard BIOS doesn't support NVME devices: Windows 10 found it immediately! Dislikes: No instructions, specifications etc. Difficult to remove the transparent film on the 2 silicone pads.

Run away!
Fried my ASUS motherboard. System will not boot at all from any drive. Even after removing the adapter. After a new $200 motherboard, I am back up and running. The NVME drive appears to not have been damaged though.

Easy to install
This is a great way to put an m.2 into a older pc. It's works great and is simple to install. The screwdriver that comes with it is a little small for the screws that are installed in the heatsink. And it will easily strip if not careful. That's the only downfall and the only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5.
