Perfect wood carving tools set for a beginner. This is exactly what I was looking for - a quality set that wouldn't break the bank. The tools fit well in my hand and the blades are super sharp as delivered.They also come with plastic blade protectors to keep the blades sharp in between uses and to make sure they don't accidentally get nicked. This is a big deal for me because I am very particular about my tools and want to make sure they are kept clean and protected so they are ready when I need them.It also comes with a leather strop for sharpening the blades and a small piece of polishing compound.And the whole thing comes wrapped in a very sturdy bag so everything will be kept together and protected for when I need it.I thought about spending more because I was not sure I could get a good set for this price - I always pay more for higher-quality tools because i've found I never regret it.In this case, I'm glass I bought this set. It's a great set of tools for a great price. Good value all around.

I bought this carving kit for my brother.We chose this one because it came with cut resistant gloves which I’m glad because these knives are razor sharp. The toolkit was made with good quality and made my carving easy and fun.

Good little kit if your working with really soft carving wood.

This is my first whittling knife set and it was worth the money. I think next time I would try to find the same thing minus the hook knife. I just don’t use it too often, it’s never a smooth process when I do. Other knives and extra are great though!! Where your gloves.

I bought this for my 13yo son’s beginning whittling class. Still not sure about quality as it pertains to this industry specifically but it worked for our beginner needs wonderfully.Everything arrived as promised. The tools, gloves, etc have held up nicely. The rolling mat type bag keeps everything neatly together in his bag... No problems at all. Would buy this set again.

Received the carving set and it was ready for use. Had everything I needed and the knives were already sharp. This will make a great addition to the gift set for my groomsmen.

So here’s the thing... This set is amazing, I added a micro grooving chisel with a ruler and pencil , 220 sand paper and a stencil brush for brush out wood cuts. It all rolls up with the gloves in one complete on the go carving kit... enough said.

It’s my new hobby so I’m a beginner. They’re really sharp so be careful when using them. Still trying to get better at my technique when using them, but they are easy to use and gloves are good at grabbing a grip. I would recommend kit
