Window Regulator Repair Clips (2) - FRONT LEFT (driver side) PAIR for VW Passat (B5, B5.5, B6, B7)

For the third time, the plastic clips on my 2000 VW Passat power window regulator broke (driver's side). This time I was really happy to find that I could buy just the clips, rather than the entire regulator unit. The supplier RegulatorFix is doing a great service by providing these clips at a very good price, and they are perfect replacements for the originals. I still needed to completely disassemble the door to access the broken clips, so there isn't a way to save much time. But at least I didn't need to drill out the speaker rivets, which needs to be done to transfer over the speaker when installing a new regulator.

Worked perfectly for my b5 s4. Much cheaper and easier to do than replacing than entire window regulator.

Glad I found them, I was going to buy a whole regulator. This saved me some money and the window works fine again on the 99 VW Passat wagon. I lubed the regulator and weather strips and I’m confident the window will work another 20 years

Good deal, worked great on the first one but tried to manipulate to second one to get into the track and one finger snapped off,for being plastic i would expect some flexibility but not in this case, you should not put any strain on these they will snap immediately.DO NOT BEND OR FLEX. Glad someone realized an entire regulator is not always necessary i tried to order this from my dealer years ago and they laughed and tried to sell me a regulator.

Dealer does not sell these regulator clips. They work great and are holding up without issue. Tested for over two months now. Granted these are plastic and with time plastic will wear and become brittle. The clips themselves seem to be made of hard plastic and good quality.If your windows do not roll up or down chances are the oem clips broke. Save yourself hundreds from replacing the entire regulator and buy these.

I bought this product when I learned my moms window would not roll up in her car, I ripped the door panel off then ripped another panel off with the regulator built onto it (damn German engineering) and both clips where broken off, so I got this and same day shipping at about 10 in the morning, at 8 pm it was here. I just had to pop them in and reattached the window mounts and then the window. It was much better than replacing the whole regulator. (By the way if you do have to replace the regulator you will need drill out rivets attaching the speaker if you buy a whole new panel.)

One of the 2 pieces broke instantly upon sliding the metal tab for the glass holder, and the other was extremely tight fitting to the point I felt it was going to break. I have done this window regulator repair well over 100x and while this seems like an easier cheaper solution...it just wasted time and money. I will honestly be making a mold and casting in aluminum cause I'm tired of these breaking to being with.

These worked great!! VERY easy to install just clicked in place. Tricky part was figuring out how they went in, but again if you follow the videos it should work for you, and a WHOLE lot cheaper than buying a complete door regulator. Thank You Regulator Fix!!
