Also, what is the distance between the two lines of top stitching and can that be adjusted?** A: 2 outside needles about 1/4 inch or inside left to center, right to center for 1/2 inch. same hem as you see on say sleeve of a tshirt. 2 needles or 3 needles **Q: Would this be a sewing machine for a beginner?** A: It is not really a sewing machine, it is more for doing bindings and hemming knits, not construction really. It was very frustrating, and I am not a beginner, I ended up selling it and buying another brand. It takes a while to get the hang of it. **Q: Can you use zipper foot, button hole foot and walking foot and ect on this machine?** A: No The specialty presser feet are a clear presser foot , edge guide presser foot, chainstitch presser foot and pintuck foot.
