I’ve tried several third-party camera batteries, and these Wasabi Power batteries are by far the best. They hold a charge well, lasting as long as or even longer than OEM Nikon batteries. The charger works quickly, and the convenience of having a two-pack means I always have a spare ready to go. Compared to other off-brand batteries that die quickly, these have great longevity and are an excellent value for photographers.

So far it charges and function strong.

I own a Nikon D90 camera that may be a little long in the tooth, but I still like it. I don’t see what the rush to mirrorless cameras is all about, but there you have it. When I first got the camera, I purchased two OEM batteries from Nikon, and they’ve been very reliable over the years. But time and use have their own affect on everything, and those batteries were no exception. When one of them rolled a seven, I figured the other one was in line for the same, so I started looking around for some new batteries on good ol’ Amazon. I was a little startled by the asking price for OEM Nikon batteries. They hovered around the $50 mark...just for one. After recovering, I decided to take the plunge into the secondary market. After looking around, I purchased a Wasabi Power Li-Ion battery kit. Wasabi has a pretty good reputation, and the kit I ordered came with two batteries, a charger, and an adapter cable for the car. Hard to pass that up. So far, I am very happy with my choice. The batteries are indistinguishable from the Nikon ones, save for the branding, and the fit and finish tell me this was a good choice. In use, the batteries seem to be up to snuff, and so far, my camera likes them as much as I do. As with everything, time will tell, but I expect these particular batteries will have the same useful lifetime as the originals, and for less than half the price of the Nikons'. Good product, good support. Good gravy! $50?

I bought this unit and the batteries work fine in my Nikon D-300. I occasionally have issues with the charger. It is two pieces and sometimes the second piece that adapts the battery to the charger does not make contact. If I take it off and push it back on it works fine. I like that this charger does not require a cord like the original Nikon charger.

This is a well designed, easy to use product. The charger is compact and easy to use. The included Wasabi batteries are top notch. Excellent value.

Works great. Charged the original Canon battery as well as the new batteries. Charges a little slower than original Canon charger which was lost in a move, but it does the job. So far so good.

I purchased this battery charger to use with my Nikon D90 and I am very pleased with both the charger and the batteries. 1. Charging Nikon battery: I had no problem with my Nikon battery charging using this charger. It is a comfortable fit and it performed as expected, no over heating or any other issues. A different light indicates when it is charging and when it is done charging. The make of this charger is not as sturdy as it could be, but it works magnificently for a product this inexpensive. 2. Wasabi batteries: These batteries worked perfectly well with my Nikon camera. They fit very well, and their performance is as expected from well-fitting, charged batteries. I have had no problems at all. I will admit to being somewhat hesitant in purchasing this product since I've never heard of the maker, but as soon as I used them, all my worries subsided. Excellent product at a very discounted price. Prime came through for me beautifully, as well. No complaints here.

This is the second Wasabi Power battery and charger kit that I've purchased. The first one was for a mini video recorder and on that the Wasabi batteries and charger and accessories work great and with this set for Nikon, it works beautifully as well. The batteries provide long life (after the first initial few uses (as they're Lithium and that's the behavior of Lithium batteries)) and I'm using the plug-directly-into-the-wall Wasabi charger now for my other Nikon batteries too instead of using the bulky, separate-cord-containing Nikon charger. And the car charger cable and Euro adapter are a definite plus. Very please with what you get for price. And not only do you get the batteries, the nice charger, the other accessories, but you also get high quality. This is nicely done at a truly remarkable price and I recommend it.
