I bought this little air conditioner because the AC at my house broke down and it was going to be several days before repairs could be made. This product works surprisingly well. It has a handle at the top to easily carry it from place to place and it’s easy to fill with water (I also add a few ice cubes to make it cool down even more). Now it does not cool a whole room; it’s too small for that, but it does cool the immediate area wherever I happen to be sitting so it gets the job done. The colored lighting at the base of the unit is a nice touch as well.

When I bought this product, I thought it would a cool small ac unit for me during the summer because it was really hot. When I received it, I tried it out, I followed all the instructions & therefore is nothing on what it describes. It doesn’t blow cold air at all no matter if you put ice or not. It only stays on for a little while until it dies out. It barely even blows out air to begin with. It’s a total waste of my money.

I read the reviews before purchasing. There were some claiming it cooled a small room, even in Las Vegas temps. Others said it worked to cool 4-8 feet. But there is nooo way this can cool anything but right in front of your face & only until the cold water you constantly add reaches room temp, then it blows a small amount of tepid air. I needed something to cool my mom in her hospital bed in her room. By the reviews this should have been perfect but the reality is it just doesn't have any oomph & can't be effective as more than a desk fan. It is easy to use, pretty with the lights on but not practical.

This product was easy to use and did what it was suppose to do BUT this is just way too small, not good enough for a small room. You can probably put it on your desk and just have it hit you while you’re working or whatever but in general not good enough for a small room. Save up the dollars and get a real ac machine. Also, it stopped working after a few weeks.

We have a large AC unit in our living room that really cools the house down -- except for our master bedroom, which I work in regularly. I didn't want another giant piece, but was skeptical about the value of a desktop piece powered by ICE. But so far I'm satisfied, only two days in and this really does bring just enough cooling that make my work life much more comfortable. It's not FREEZING cold, so if you need serious coldness, get a giant machine. Others I saw used USB connections, I didn't want that because my USB hub is already overloaded. Controls are easy, the water/ice compartment works fine -- I wish the backdoor was just a little larger so I could drop the icecubes in that way, but the base opens up easily enough and the backdoor is perfect for adding more water. Great, practical, and it came quickly with Amazon Prime. Happy so far!

Overall it's a great product. When I first opened it I thought it was way too small to do much. That was not the case. This little machine does a pretty good job of cooling a room. It's very simple and easy to use. The only issue I have is needing to fill it often. The water/ice tank should be bigger. It's supposed to last for hours. But it does require frequent filling. Otherwise the product is impressive. Awesome concept. It just needs to be a little larger.

This product is advertised as a portable A/C unit, at the very least it should cool the air with the use of ice/ cold water in its tank. However, this item neither cools the air nor has enough power to deliver breeze to your face if you are more than 4 inches away from it. It doesnt cool the room and it doesnt even cool the person sitting next to you. Its not powerful enough. I dont know what its good for. Honestly, the reviews are lies. This product is TERRIBLE. I've never been so unhappy with a purchase.

It is a personal AC. You won't be cooling down your whole room by itself but it's been great. Once I turn on the in room ceiling fans, I have been able to get really good airflow in whatever room I have it in. It does say to use pure water in the instructions which I take as distilled or bottled. My county has calcium heavy water so I would do that anyway but if you use tap (most people would use tap for ice) then clean it after the use. Overall, gets even room temp water colder than I would have thought. Nouse is more ambient especially with the water drop sounds so no issues sleeping. The timer works great although I wish there were more settings. The value for money: I dropped an extra ten for the lighting feature which is cool but not necessary. Definitely worth the 40 for the AC portion!
