I was missing one bulb in my fan light since it had given up the ghost. These replacements made a world of difference in the brightness in my living room

The bulbs are made well and look great at night!

All good LED light bulbs are pricey but these bulbs for my dining room candelabra were perfect. They are the perfect brightness at an affordable price (much less than some of the LED bulbs I looked at). I was concerned about how the white bottoms would look but you really don't notice the bottoms with the lights on. Also it was difficult to find a flame tip candelabra bulb at 40 watts but these work perfectly. I hope the longevity is accurate and I can save some money on my electric bill with the use of LED bulbs. Tine will tell!

I got them quickly through my Prime shipping. Unfortunately, the glass of 2 of the 6 bulbs was shattered. Amazon was great again and processed a refund and I reordered the pack. I am using the bulbs in a candelabra style lamp and the black print on the ceramic bottom piece was really ugly. The print is not shown in the product image which is misleading since I had specifically looked for bulbs withpout the ugly print.However, I was able to use simple paper Whiteout and applying it unevenly, letting a few drops run, it now looks even nicer than just plain because it resembles candles a little. It was an easy and cheap fix but I'm withholding 1 star for the need of doing it as well as the fact that the product image willfully doesn't show that the print is there.One thing to note: I carefully removed the remnants of the shattered glass from the 2 broken bulbs and tried them: They do work, unlike an incandescent bulb since the glass is only for show. I was able to use them in hidden lighting in my living room wall unit.UPDATE 06/14/15: I installed the bulbs with a new Lutron Majestro CL dimmer. My lamp has 5 of these bulbs and they are not enough to prevent "ghosting", meaning that even when the lamp is shut off, the bulbs emit a faint glow. It is only visible in the dark but nevertheless a nuisance. These bulbs, as nice as they are are not listed as compatible with any Lutron dimmers. Just something to keep in mind.

These are great, Way brighter than I expected. A super good product. I could only hope for the price to improve over time on all LED bulbs as they are so much better than the CFL junk, The price for these as they relate to the current market place was still very good. I am happy I made the purchase, I replaced 25 bulbs in our dinning room chandelier that were 45 watts each. My family cannot stop themselves from turning on that light everyday and leaving it on all day long. It was costing a fortune in electricity at 1125 watts 20 hours a day (About $1.60 a day!). Now it is 125 watts (About .10 cents a day) and they even turn it off more, as it is almost too bright. I had to put a dimmer switch in and it works great.

Really nice design and generates adequately bright light - the bulbs look stylish for our front door (outside) fixtures. I find the color temperature to be a tad cooler than the 2700K units from other brands.However, I am, so far, not super impressed with its longevity. I purchased a 6 pack in August 2015; one stopped working in 9 months. When I contacted customer service in May'16, I was asked to pay shipping charges for the replacement unit. Even though my purchase price in 2015 was around 80% more than the current listing price, I did not want to pay for an item that is advertised to have a 3 year warranty.As another reviewer has stated, the unit looks and feels to have superior construction and aesthetics, and the remaining 5 bulbs are working just fine for my use. 2 stars down for the faulty unit and how my replacement request was handled.

PROs:Best pro is my dimmer switch doesn’t get hot any more. Had twelve, 60 watt incandescent bulbs in the chandelier. Switch and plate used to get so hot you couldn’t touch it. Now with 12 LED bulbs, switch stays cool.I can’t tell the difference. Installed 6 LEDs in the top and left 6, 60 watt incandescent bulbs in the bottom for a comparison. They had the same or very close to the same brightness.They are dimmable and they look more like incandescent bulbs than some other brands I’ve seen. Not exact, but close enough that they look good in the chandelier.CONs:When running full bright after a while the white portion of the light bulb gets hot. By that I mean you can’t hold your finger on it very long hot. The clear part stays cool to the touch though. If it’s not running full power it only gets warm.Labeling and safety data on the white portion is done in black/gray ink. For some uses that isn’t a big deal, but if the bulb is in full view, you will see the labeling. I used white paint and covered up all the black ink and they look fine.NOTE: I tested the heat at the base of the bulbs before I painted them. The paint was not the cause of them heating up at full power.

Best buy for the quality and price! Not available in Home Depot or Menards.
