This polar bear puppet is high-quality and very realistic in its details. It is so adorable that the kids I read to ( preschoolers and kindergarten-aged) are going to love it! Such soft fur, too.

My 5 year old granddaughter absolutely loves this bear. Goes to bed every night with it.

I searched for a smiling bear to give with the book "Hush Little Polar Bear." I compared bears in stores and online with the bear in the book, hoping to find a look-alike. None were quite right, until I found this little guy. Since he's a hand puppet, the mouth is open, just as if he's smiling. He's nicely stuffed for cuddling in bed, just like the bear in the book. And he's the right size to give as a companion gift with a book. As reviewers noted, the opening for the mouth is for a child's small hand. That's fine with me. It is, after all, a child's puppet. This is the cutest stuffed bear. I think I'll buy a couple more to keep for future gifts.

Very cute polar bear. This was a gift for my nephew. It has happily joined his hand puppet collection. Definitely a great buy.

It doesn't look as nice in person as in the picture, the mouth is shaped more like a coyote muzzle. It's very hard to move the mouth and the legs don't move at all. The puppet does *not* stand on its own, the legs are too spread out

Grandaughter loves the bear carries it everywhere and tries her hardest to be a ventriloquist.
