Pioneer MVH-MS512BS Marine Car Stereo with Bluetooth, USB, AM/FM Radio

So far so good

Replaced a 15 or so year old Pioneer with this. Seems to generate good clean RCA voltage.

GREAT SOUNDING STEREO FOR THE PRICE OF IT

Got roughly 3 years out of this before it gave me the "AMP ERROR" message and shuts off. Did all the troubleshooting and determined the radio itself failed. It would have occasional minor connection issues, but most of the time when it was working, it worked just fine. Frustrated that I have to replace it after only 3 years, may end up buying a different brand to give it a try.

Nice but controls are too touchy

works great in boat out on the water. bluetooth connects to iphone easily and now plays sirrius xm, pandora, and spotify radio. easily change music right on phone. nice and lightweight, allot lighter than the cd player it replaced. white black display shows up very good in direct sunlight.

Working great

I purchased the radio at the end of January to be put on the boat. Installed and have used a couple times due to weather, took the boat out yesterday and "amp error" popped up on the display and turned itself off. tried the remainder of the day and says same thing. today, same thing. I will post an update, on phone with customer service as I type. UPDATE: May 21st, just got a text from Pioneer saying to call them about the radio, so I did, they say that the radio has severe water damage and is not covered under warranty........hmmmmmm. This has literaly been on the boat 2 times that we have taken it out!!!! there is absolutely no way there was any water on this radio because it is in a cabinet, inside of an enclosure!! I removed the radio myself and know for a fact there was no moisture what so ever on or around the radio. Bottom line is, this is a common issue with pioneer marine units (google it) and seems like this is standard procedure to not do a warranty claim! Its my word against theirs as to the water or not, but I can promise you that I will not own another Pioneer product ever again! The customer service guy said that they shouldnt get any water on them whatsoever, what is the reason to even make marine stereos??

I installed this head unit into my Motorcycle, 2012 Electra-glide touring. Works great. With the Metra AXSWC wheel control adapter the handle bar audio controls was plug and play and retained controls.

Installed in a 1992 Mastercraft Prostar, easy to install, good enough power to not use an amp.
