Wilderness Poets, Raw Macadamia Nut Butter - Vegan, No Salt (8 Ounce) - Glass Jar

Insanely decadent. I’m on a very low sugar-low histamine diet, so this is my go-to dessert. I eat by the teaspoon, or smear on a couple of brown rice crackers. I appreciate the little bits of macadamia crunch in this butter. Please don’t change a thing. It’s perfection! Just ordered two more.

I never review anything, but this nut butter is amazing! The only mistake I made was getting a small jar. It is not smooth, but it’s Raw nut butter so they may not be able to make it smooth without heating it. I bought the pistachio as well. Yum!

This company did a wonderful job creating nut butters that are amazing; clean and delicious with no extra crap. I will be ordering more for sure.

A good fresh product! I was seeking a very smooth nut butter. However this is a chunky texture. The description does NOT state this. The ma fractures do state it is dnall batch, which i appreciate. I hope tge will sell two knids: chunky and smooth. I will buy again until I find a different manufacturer of smooth nut butter.

I use this to make fresh Macadamia nut salad dressing. I rounded full Tsp. of the nut butter, 2 Tsp white distilled vinegar, 2 Tsp refined Rose Mtn. Safflower oil, 6 drops organic monk fruit sweetener. a smidgen of sea salt, a few shakes of organic dried chives and organic cilantro. I use this on an iceberg lettuce salad with finely sliced raw chayote squash and water chestnuts. If you have any food issues this is safe for MCAS and Histamine Intolerance. Virtually little to no salicylates, oxylates or lectins. It’s a light dressing that still allows you to taste the ingredients in your salad. It enhances the flavors rather than covering them up.

Due to their lipid profile, macadamia nuts are the healthiest of the nut family. So, my household is crazy for them! Unfortunately, they're not exactly economical. So, when I spend this much $$ on a little 8-oz jar of nut butter, it *better* be good. To avert taste/texture disappointment, I bought a tiny 2-oz. single-serving container of the same brand & product at a local natural foods store. The product inside the jar I ordered on Amazon arrived identical to the single-serving I'd purchased. I agree with another review: it is a bit gritty, but I don't mind that. I mean, it's not gritty like sand. It's not the texture of smooth peanut butter, nor the texture of crunchy peanut butter. It's somewhere in-between. It's also more fluid than peanut butter or even almond butter. That is likely due to its higher (but better!) fat content. As a result, it doesn't "spread" very easily. That doesn't stop me from eating it with carrot or celery sticks as a snack, but it just doesn't coat the way that the aforementioned nut butters do. For me, this isn't an issue. I buy it because it's healthy for my family, and we could easily eat it straight off the spoon (I vehemently deny any accusation that I've done that...wink, wink). It tastes very fresh, and has a natural mild sweetness that's fantastic. Given the price, I likely won't be buying this on a regular basis. Compared to regular macadamia nuts at my local natural foods store, this is a luxury item. However, knowing how expensive the ingredient is and how high quality the product tastes, I feel it is a good value. So, when I feel like a nut-butter-and-jelly sandwich, this won't be my go-to, but it's a nice little splurge to have every once in a while. FYI, the jar indicates that the only ingredient is "organic, raw macadamia nuts." Based upon another review, I'm not sure if the manufacturer has changed formulas recently, but I just received my jar 2 days before writing this review.

It tastes pretty good despite it not containing salt and sugar. I was surprised that it contained bits of macadamia nuts. None of our local stores carry macadamia nut butter. I have histamine intolerance and are unable to tolerate any other types of nut spreads. I will order it again soon.

I initially felt buyer's remorse after purchasing, but had not even tried it. My after-purchase thoughts were I doubt it tastes good. Two months after purchase, I tried it. Wow, I was wrong! This Macadamia Nut Butter tastes great! It almost tastes too good, so I find myself battling not to eat the whole jar at one sitting. You get the great taste of Macadamia Nuts, but without the sometimes tooth and jaw pain of eating the often natural chew of the nuts. It even has texture similar to crunchy Peanut Butter, but it's Macadamia flavored. A great alternative to Peanut Butter on bread, crackers or veggies. I like to go back and forth eating Macadamia Nut butter and Peanut Butter at the same sitting, it brings out the best of both flavors.

I have purchased this product several times. It is nice although some different in texture, not quite creamy but delicious so Ibwill co ntinue tonbuy from this company.
