Very cute!
I purchased this for my son in the 9 month size. By the time it was his special day he was already wearing 12 month clothing everyday, we had just barely made the switch going up a size. This fit him perfectly. Hope that context helps someone.I will say it’s see through so you will need to layer a white onesie underneath. In the photo my son is wearing the onesie underneath this outfit.I can’t comment on the hat because we didn’t use it. Nice that it’s included for people who want it but we had no use for it. Maybe the seller could have a cheaper option available that doesn’t include the hat.Overall very happy with my purchase! My son looked great on his special day and everyone loved his outfit!

Precious, well-made outfit -- and here are some measurements
What a great outfit! The cotton pique is high quality and wrinkle resistant (a nice feature!). Our son wore a onesie underneath, but the material is thick enough that I don't think it was really necessary. He wore the hat before and after his baptism, and it is absolutely classic boy adorable! I read all the reviews before ordering and still ended up buying both the 9 month size and the 12 month size. Our little guy was exactly 5 and a half months old and 18 pounds on the big day. The 9 month outfit looked like it would fit just right but with little wiggle room and growing room (I have an easter collar/bib for him to wear over this for Easter, so it needed to fit a month after his baptism), so I went with the 12 month. The only real difference I could see between the two sizes was the 12 month outfit was a bit longer in the leg, hitting about an inch above his ankle, as opposed to the 9 month size which came between his knee and mid calf. In researching where kickers are supposed to hit, it seems anywhere from just below the knee to between mid-calf and ankle is correct. I measured both sizes carefully from the top of the shoulder (right next to the collar) to the straddle/crotch snaps and also measured the width across the outfit at the point directly under the sleeves. Here are the measurements:9 month: shoulder to straddle = 16.5 in. and width = 10 in.12 month: shoulder to straddle = 17 in. and width = 10.75 in.

Super Cute
This outfit was for my 6 month old and i got the 6 months size and it fits perfect, a little bit again and it would be too tight on his legs though, he's a good size not slim and not very thick and 17lbs. I gave it 4 stars because one of the buttons on the back popped off while he was wearing it. it is a little see through but I just used a plain white diaper underneath. Overall super cute and I would buy again

Beautiful
Crisp material without being harsh. Did not wrinkle. Washes beautifully. The material was not hot. Good fit.

Loved this outfit
I was very hesitant ordering a baptism outfit for my 7 month old son online but took the plunge and ordered this one. It was light weight and didn't wrinkle much. Our son is 7 months old, 22 pounds, and 2 1/2 feet tall. We ordered the 18 month outfit and it fit him perfectly. It hit him right past the knee and there was still wiggle room so he wasn't stuffed like a sausage. The hat fit perfectly. We were able to unbutton the top two buttons in the back which allowed for the front of the outfit to be pulled down for the priest to do the oil blessing on the chest. We didn't need a onesie under the outfit as its summer time and it's hot. You couldn't even see the diaper through it. He wore the pampers with the wetness indicator. The diaper is white and at the top has the Sesame Street character. He was comfortable and that's all that mattered. Oh, and there are buttons on the bottom for easy diaper changes.

Happy with my purchase
I wish the material would have been a little more stretchy, it is not the easiest outfit to put on a wiggly baby...I bought the 9 month old size for my large 3 month old son (I based my decision on the sizing-guide) and the fit was pretty good. It was a little wide but the length was actually perfect especially since it bunched-up as we held him and moved him around during the ceremony.I love the fact that there are buttons at the top, on the back...this made it easy for the priest to anoint his chest with the oil by us simply unbuttoning a few of the buttons. The material is thick enough to where you couldn't see my son's diaper underneath and he didn't need to wear another layer.Lastly, the price is nice compared to some of the other options out there.

Adorable - don't overthink the sizing recommendations
It's so hard buying clothes online because I feel I can never trust the sizing info provided. My son is 2 months old, weighs 14.5 pounds and is almost 24 inches long. According to the sizing chart he should be in the 6 mo size but in reality the 3 mo size worked great. I'd say this outfit fits true to normal infant sizing so trust that over the sizing chart recommendations. The outfit itself is adorable. The material is a little thin but better than all those hot silky feel polyester outfits that seem to be popular for boy baptisms. I plan to hand wash it before he wears it to soften it up a little more but straight out of the package it's not bad at all. I'll update this post if anything goes awry after washing otherwise I'd say it's a great find!
