PeruginaSorrento Spicchi Candy 2.2 lb (35 ounces/ 1 kilo bag) Lemon, Orange and Tangerine flavors

A group of friends and we stayed at the Michelangelo Hotel in New York where they had these candies in a bowl at the check in counter. They were just wonderful! What I like is that the flavor lasts to the very end unlike some lemon drops that have just a veneer of flavor. I was delighted to find that I could order them online through Amazon and have done just that several times. They come in three flavors, all good. Great when you have a cough and want something soothing.

the candies are delicious and arrived fresh. Spicchis are citrus flavored hard candies that have just the right mix of citrus and sweet. Additionally, they are not weird fake colors--they are all clear. They are nicely wrapped and come in 3 flavors--orange, tangerine, and lemon. Now the packaging...Beautifully done! This would be nice to send to someone. It arrived in a really nice "black-tie" box and the candies were wrapped inside in a clear cellophane bag. Nice job! I would definitely purchase these again--from this seller.

First came across these amazing hard candies being given out at a Microsoft Partner Program conference. Spent half the conference going to random presentations and pocketing as many as I could find. Made in Italy by a high-end confectionery, these candies are light, refreshing, and slightly sweet. Like biting into a fresh piece of fruit. They're nothing like the random hard candies you'll find in the States, where all you can taste is the HFCS.After I got back from the conference I quickly ran out of the stockpile I had brought back, so I set about figuring out how to get my hands on some. Imagine my joy when I found you can import these through Amazon! I keep a tin full on my desk, and I have to shoo away coworkers lest they consume them all.

Candy was in an open plastic bag. Individual pieces were a sticky mess. Almost impossible to unwrap. What was supposed to be a hard candy was a sticky stale nasty mess. Major disappointment .

It seems the inner wrapper doesn’t want to separate from the piece of candy without a lot of work but once you get it off, the candy is excellent. I think they might have gone through a heat or something because I’ve had it before Well, this was not a problem, but still a tasty candy nonetheless

I had these for the first time at a hotel in Dallas, where they were provided on the tables at a business meeting. I was skeptical at first, since so much fruit-flavored candy tastes artificial, cloying, and lame. These things are seriously awesome. Absolutely true flavor, with a clean, tangy bite that most citrus-flavored candy never achieves. I did the tourist thing and stuffed some into my purse to bring home. My whole family loved them, so I had to go looking for a source. Imagine my surprise when those little hotel give-aways turned out to be pricey imports. They're worth it, though.

I first encountered this delicous hard candy in New York City (Manhattan) at the Sheraton Times Square Hotel Hudson Cafe when leaving the restaurant. I took a few, tasted one and had to go back for a handful. I was hooked! When I arrived home I had to find out where I could purchase some and googled the name on the wrapper. I was so surprised that I found it and that it could be purchased through amazon. Thank you Amazon for stocking this merchandise, I would certainly recommend this product to anyone that love fruity, sour hard candy that satisfies!
