Drain oil directly back into the bottle.
Got two of these for two different cars. Makes oil changes so quick and cleaner. I keep the hose end adapter off the car and keep it in my garage with the small length of tubing attached. Now I don't need to let the car cool down let the oil drain from the tube directly into an old 5 quart oil bottle which I take straight to the recycler. The oil filter is still a hassle but now my oil change time is cut in half. Needed to purchase the spacer (https://a.co/d/04vQ90QJ) for both my cars which seems to be a common problem in oil pan designs. If there is a concern is if you do any off roading since the valve sticks out a bit, especially if you're using an adapter. Not a problem for me however.

Great product!
Great product! I bought the EZ-106 (14mm-1.5) EZ Oil Drain Valve with the removable hose end for my 2018 Kia Soul with the 2.0L engine. Before this, I was using a HighFree 12V 60W oil change pump, which worked well for extracting oil from the pan. However, since the oil filter on this car is located underneath, I still had to deal with draining the remaining oil into a pan. Thatโs why I decided to try this drain valve after reading many positive reviewsโand it did not disappoint. Installation was straightforward, and it makes oil changes much cleaner and easier. No more mess or hassle with removing the drain plug every time. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

You need this if you change your own oil
I have had this installed on car since 2019. It works amazing and no more mess. I plug a nylon hose into it that drains into and empty container bypassing the use of a drain pan. It goes right into the container you put a cap on to dispose of. Love it and put one on my wifeโs car as well.

Makes changing your own oil easier
Got this for my 2005 F-150 5.4L truck. It fits and will make draining the oil much easier. A hose can be attached to direct the hot oil into a container - a big improvement over removing a plug and having the oil splatter and make a mess on my hands and floor.

Love this for my JK
This is a great valve if for some reason you want to have something like this. The valve is fairly inexpensive and well designed and made. In my case the valve was able to thread in and tighten so the release lever is at the top. The valve has the o-ring so you do not need a gasket. The valve is fairly compact so hitting it while of roading is probably a low chance. The hose spigot is removable to make sure it is not a problem even if you manage to hit it. The opening in the valve is surprisingly large so the oil draining is slow, but not as slow as I though it would be. So definitely recomend.

Fit my Ford 6.7L diesel.
Review is for E-Z 106 combo with straight hose end. I usually have to change the oil while RVing during the summer. It's a messy job being the plug is on the side of the oil pan. The oil is hot and shoots out when the plug is removed. Several improvised solutions have not worked successfully. I purchased this for several reasons: it has an O-ring seal against the pan; is chrome plated; comes with the hose end; was less expensive than its competitor. I installed it between oil changes and only lost about 8ozs of oil. Motor was cold and I removed the plug with both hands so as not to drop it and keep it in place until I got a finger over the hole to stop the flow. Next, again with both hands, I put the valve in the hole and gently turned it to start the threads. Finished turning it in by hand and then tightened with a Crescent wrench. Has not leaked but don't have many miles since install. The idea is great and I hope it makes an oil change on the road easier. One thing I did not anticipate was the final location of the valve and handle. Most pictures show the valve and handle at or near the 12 o'clock position (pointing towards the top of the oil pan). Mine is at the 5 o'clock position and the valve and handle protrudes slightly below the bottom of the pan. I don't do a lot of off road driving but this position could pose a possible problem. Right now I'm pleased and don't anticipate problems. Four stars only because I haven't used it yet.

Doesn't fit Honda Civic 2012
I used the website to find the right size for my car (honda civic 1.8ivtech 2012) but the new plug doesn't fit as it's too chunky and is blocked by the sump pan. Shame as otherwise it seems well made.

Excellent product.
Installed on my motor home as the oil drain plug was directly above the front axle. This will make the job of draining so much cleaner. Highly recommend. Make sure you order the proper size to fit your vehicle.
