Tru Ball Bandit

This is a great release for the money. First off though the release I received is not the one pictured it is all black and the way the way the cords are adjusted is a little different but much better than the knot. The wrist strap is leather, and the buckle is great. The caliper can be adjusted, unlike the description says, there is a small set screw in it that can be turned to adjust the trigger pull, also the length of the caliper from the wrist strap is easily adjusted, and there is no longer the problem of the knot pulling out, because it doesn't rely on the knot to stay in place. I think that the release pictured and described is a older version. I have attached a picture of the release I got which is the newer and more adjustable one.

Not the same as I ordered I ordered a black an gray that looked somewhat heavier than the all black on I received I don't like the looks of it as well

Great product! Bought one for myself, then turned around and bought one for my son, as well. Trigger action is strong holding, and the buckle makes it very silent. I highly recommend this product. The only thing that I recommend if you do decide to purchase this product is to make sure that the leather tie straps attached to the release are secure and tight. There have been some reports of the release flying off and even dry firing some compound bows because of this. However, I still give this product a five because of the above mentioned, this problem is easily resolved, and there is no 4.8 star option.

I already had a T.R.U. Ball Bandit release with the velcro strap but wanted one with the buckle strap. This one is as good as the previous.

This is my second release. Im just a first timer and this one works so much beder then the other one .The tru ball is just great.

Since there are no reviews on this release anywhere that I could find I decided to leave one. First off this looks like a decent release for the money. However when I took it out of the package attached it to my bow and drew back on it the factory string knot pulled straight through the release, dry fired my bow and the locking jaws went flying into the wall. Could have been way worse than it was, just got lucky. Everyone needs to know that you must untie and retie with a larger knot on the rope connection to the release before you use it or it will pull through!! TruBall F***ed up on this part because nowhere in their instructions is it listed or suggested to check the rope knot or retie it accordingly.Do not shoot with this until you triple check your rope knot that connects the release head to the strap or it will pull through!!This product received a 1 star for now. I will change my rating accordingly as I spend more time shooting with it.
