Excellent protection for conductors, but stiff to work with
Bought this as part of a 240V circuit for a upstairs wall heater, and needed to protect wires passing into wall cavity from ground-floor garage ceiling access. Super strong liquid-tight flex conduit, but a bear to straighten. Fortunately, it can be cut to fit by popping off end fitting, sliding the three wires just behind the intended cut, and neatly sawing off excess using a rod saw blade. Dress up the cut surface, pull the wires back out, and secure a liquid-tight 1/2 in. compression end fitting to complete the process. Got it fitted to a 3x2x 3 1/2 in. deep switch box, attached thermostat wires, and good to go. Yes, the whip can be cut to fit, just take a bit of care to pull conductors back away from cutting blade, and use a proper end fitting for secure attachment.

It's definitely 10 AWG wire in a weather resistant flexible conduit :) but it has room in the conduit for the relay wires you will most likely need to fish through it so that's a pleasant surprise

Very easy to install. Cheapest way for a single installation.
This comes as a kit which is very easy to install. Everything you need is already installed and cut to fit. When you only have a singular installation this is the most inexpensive way to do it by buying it as a pre-made kit.

This is PERFECT..Number 10 wire for ac units and watertight connections
Normally I have liquatite on hand, but needed this in a pinch an it's Pre-made with fittings just throw it in and your done....this is exactly what you need for hooking up min-split ductless or conventional central air systems..Any installer that is not using a product like this should not be installing. PERIOD.....can't see why I should stock these in raw materials anymore when all you need is this complete whip
