I had no problems connecting this to both my Android phone and Samsung WiFi tablet. The image is certainly not HD and changing resolution thru the software doesn't do anything to improve it. I'm not sure why a cell phone camera can have an HD quality lens but the one in this camera is so poor. The LED light dimmer works well as do the picture taking and video functions but, again, the images are not very sharp, especially when trying to see close up details of a surface or object. Also, I don't know why the cable needs to be so long. It's quite heavy and stiff so it's a bit cumbersome to work with. Reduce the length and save cost. Not sure I'll be keeping it.

Although the output might be 1080p, this 2MP camera gives it a terrible image quality. Also, the focal point range is pretty narrow. I returned it and got a 5MP camera (and it’s focal point also happened to be much improved).Set up was fairly straightforward. It generates a WiFi hotspot to which your mobile device connects, and then you launch the app. The device seems relatively durable. The attachments are a nice added bonus, but aren’t anything groundbreaking. In other words, if you’d had to pick, you should focus your search getting a higher megapixel camera rather than the extra little gadgets.

If you are using this for pipework or small crevice work where the trouble area you need to see is within 2 to 3 inches of the lens, this will probably work ok for you. however, it seems to have a fixed focal point of those 2 to 2.5 inches, so when entering a void... say 1 foot or greater, the image quality (focus clarity on objects greater than 2.5 inches away) becomes horrible.On the same note of the image quality, it is usually difficult to make out exactly what you are looking at. Thus it is probably best suited for confirming an obstruction or the presence of an object as opposed to identification of what the obstruction or object actually is.

Nice WIFI endoscope with adjustable brightnessEasy to use and setup, great picture. I have used for car air-conditioner clean (don't have to take parts off to examine wear), was great for use in a wall I was running wires through, allowed for smaller holes. Used to examine the underside of house floor. Only thing I wish was included would be an attached case to hold accessories. Overall, highly recommended.

I could see all the way up my duct to the dryer. No need for a professional inspection or cleaning. I saved myself a lot of money.

Ok for the price if your just need to check an area out but picture quality is not that great if you are trying to do a thorough investigation

had to read several reviews to figure out how to get the app to work - once you get it, it's great! the camera itself is fine but if it's not laying against something, that is, sort of dangling in the air, it too shaky to get a clear picture. if you can hold it still it's a great pic
