SHARPP specializes in the production of advanced whetstone SHARPP whetstone that not only solves all your honing problems, but also brings you plenty of fun for cooking and living! How to choose the right gravel? The higher the grit, the finer the stone, the better the result. Oil is usually medium to 240 to 1000 or as high as 1000 to 8000 grit.  Medium grit is used to remove minor scratches and to grind rough edges, while high grit is used to polish and refine fine edges.  Use high-gravel edging to hone high-end professional cutting tools and medium gravel to sharpen conventional tools. Convert 240# to 400#: Repair severely damaged edges for blunt knives (removing rust, scratches and blunt edges) 600# to 2000#: Grinding (sharpening blades) to get 3000# to 8000# Fine surface: precise refining for a sharp finish that eliminates burrs on the edges. Polish the edges with gentle pressure until smooth and sharp. 10000# and above, for the polishing of the tool honing instructions: 1. Soak the stone in water for 5 minutes and place it on a stable platform for 2. Grind with 12000grit for 15minute.3. Leave some water on the stone to keep it cool. 4. After honing, clean the knife with a damp cloth or water and then dry. 5. Clean the stone with a soft brush and let it dry in a ventilated place.  Tips: 1. Please make full use of the surface, not just the middle part. 2.
