Screen Mirroring or Streaming
The device was relatively easy to set up, although the instructions provided could be more precise. The device is small, and once the app was downloaded and my phone was set to mirror the screen, the image immediately displayed on my television. For videos and pictures on my phone, there was no lag time, and the images were clear and crisp. While streaming a video from social media, there was an occasional delay or lag in time, and the device completely hung up at one point and had to be disconnected and reconnected to re-establish the connection. This may have been due to internet signal interference though I have experienced no problems in streaming or connectivity, so not sure. I was unable to mirror anything from Youtube. Overall the device works, as stated, would be a great asset if you were doing a presentation directly from your device. I will continue to play around with it, try it with my laptop versus phone and see how the internet stream works.

You Get What You Pay For
First problem with this is that there is significant overscan when pairing with a windows device. The FAQ on their website says to check your TV settings. This isn't a TV setting issue. There should be a setting in the device to reduce the image to compensate for the overscan. Microsoft has a similar product that is more expensive but has this setting. The other issue is that frequently this device won't be seen by my windows computer when trying to connect. I have to keep rebooting it several times until it shows up. I updated the firmware and it still has the same issue. I used two different windows laptops and had that problem. My windows laptops have no problem seeing the roku, my TV, my microsoft wireless adapter etc... Just this one won't show up.Finally, this device appears to be more susceptible than average to wifi interference. So if you live in an apartment complex then you should not bother getting it because it simply won't work well. Also when it is working there is a significant issue with audio/video sync. Some of this is just miracast related but this is significantly worse than my microsoft wireless adapter. Of course the microsoft adapter is twice the price but I would say it's worth it.

Does Not Stream Movies
My Adaptec ScreenBeamMini2 failed after four years so I thought I would try this 4K HDMA wireless display receiver for about 40% lower cost. I use the wireless display receiver to display my Lenovo laptop on my 1080p 55” TV via the laptop’s internal WiDi transmitter. The problem is it took about 5 seconds from the time I moved the mouse to the time I saw it move on the TV. Similarly, the same happened when I streamed a movie but the image was heavily pixelated and frozen most of the time. So I ordered a replacement Adaptec receiver and the laptop image is transmitted perfectly. The design of this 4K receiver appears to be inadequate.

Simple to use
The media could not be loaded. This mirror device is easy to use and setup. It came with instructions that was easy to understand. The sound quality was great. But the picture quality wasn’t what I expected it to be and it seemed to be 780p quality which isn’t bad. I recommend getting this for a play area.

Very nice MiraCast device
This works well with my windows 10 computer with no software needed. Also with my Samsung Galaxy S9 also no software needed. We are getting this at my company because of the ease to connect and mirror the display. I love this device!!!

Poor quality picture stream
Have yet to get a 4k quality picture out of it .. use a new Samsung 8 phone and the picture is standard quality at best , when it is not blurry. Not very impressed with it but it has a great concept..
