Sonor Drums SP 473 Bass Drum Pedal

The pedal is very good all around. The hammer- felt is very thin, which I thought was a (cheap-skate choice), for 10 cents more > it could have been just right. The performance is very good but not great. So, far it is very good for the cost. (NOW) the cons... The BASE of the pedal that attaches to your Bass Drum is very 'THICK.' I have an Electronic set and had to adjust the Bass Stand quite a bit. This can be a problem for certain Bass Drums and E drum trigger-pads. Lastly, my pedal was not set up at all. I had to disasemble and recalabrate the whole assembly. AMAZON, did take care of me and assured me that this is not a usual occurence. I believe they are correct. " Just some Chiaman had too much Sake-y !

I bought this pedal because, the pedal that had come with the deumset that is at my church had broken and I was looking for an inexpensive pedal to get the job done. When I got the pedal and took it out the box the pedal was very heavy and strong, this pedal far superseded the playability of any pedal that I've played in the past. It is very smooth and makes doing doubles, and triplets on the bass drum very easy. I recommend this pedal to anyone who wants a strong, durable, and sturdy pedal that will get the job when ever you need it too.

Pedal is weighted very nicely, has great action. I don't love the hammer so I changed it out for a mallet but really that's a pretty simple thing to do. If you're looking for a cheap pedal that actually feels good this is excellent for the money, I totally recommend it.

Excellent foot pedal. The last one I had was quite flimsy, and this new Sonor pedal is very solid and durable. This pedal creates consistent bounce for your foot, which you're able to utilize in order to craft varying degress of bass drum notes. Would recommend to any drummer! Well worth the price!

This pedal allowed me instantly to play the fast bossa nova and samba syncopated bass drum rhythms. My Tama pedal is much more resistant and slow by comparison, while still being an excellent pedal...The elastic feel on the sonor is velvety and very fast.

Awesome deal for a Made in China product. I used it for my gig right out of the box. Very responsive pedal. Would buy another one at this price.

I purchased two of these for my Rogers kit. I like the way they feel. The pedals are very responsive and fast. Would buy them again.

Great feel - not too heavy or light - and packs quite a punch. A steal under $60... I highly recommend.
