Small Wars Sometimes Grow Into Big Wars
Alex's troubles multiply as two civil wars draw him away from Brit County, yet again. Fortunately, or not -- depending on how he views the issue -- his harem of Numbers, wives, and concubines continues to grow as well. Possibly even more disturbing is the fact that a second goddess has taken an interest in Alex and he has no clue where that could lead. This novel connects to other trilogies by Arand and Darren in what I've decided to dub the "Runner-verse," because Runner appears to be the initiator of the VR worlds which comprise the field of battle between himself and Zeus. Some of the other trilogies have more blatant LitRPG elements in them, so I'm classifying this as a LitRPG, harem, light erotica novel, which matches with the other trilogies.

excellent
What a finish! Love how the author ties all the different trilogies from different realities (universes) together with overlapping characters, yet they all stand up on their own. The MC, Alex, is a Machiavellian manipulator who is ruthless to his opponents but exceptionally generous to his allies. It was especially interesting that the only magic on this reality seems to be for oaths. Everything else is strategy, tactics, psychology and physical activity. Alex’s goal was to exceed Leah’s standards, while plowing every possible woman till its a wonder his equipment didnt break off from overuse. All told this was an exceptionally intriguing read and I’m continuing to read the author’s trilogies and hope that he will continue to blend realities and interesting characters as these stories have, l think, much more life still in them. I really appreciate his writing style and look forward to the next trilogy on my list.

Can only get better from here!
Cover to cover, not a thing to complain about! The dirty parts aren't excessively long, the bits you'd be predicting by now are no less wonderful to come across, and there's still little surprises you stumble upon to keep you hungry for the next ten pages! I wait with bated breath for the next book.

By Far the Most...
Completely rounded of his series and getting there to perect(haven't figured out how to half a star).FF1 i wobbled my hand at and accepted as a substitute for WW. FF2 i grew to like more it had the trend that can be found in the other series that go with any book 2 for William D. Arrand(a.k.a. Randi Darren) of oh shit something went wrong(heres a hint movie title Behind Enemy Lines). But FF3 expands on what ive found to be wrong with the series and started not to like. Our hero truly doesn't lose. Yes we want our hero to win and the draw is he wins by not making those cliche mistakes that involves us accepting an issue for plot convenience. But still that has to be a lose or else (or maybe its just me) it really becomes those not so acceptable 80s movies where the hero walks into several killing rooms repeatedly and survives unscathed with a pistol one clip a knife threw away instead of using and started ripping throats out with his bare hands!! Now I'm not saying I don't enjoy those but after awhile you know what's about to happen and don't look forward to the next installment. But FF3 took a note out R1, expanding on the shared universe, and lastly showing that this was only the beginning and that Alex's trials were just kids in a sandbox fighting. All in all can't wait for the pick up on this one

As good as I hoped
In this genre of kingdom building harem lit the author is known for being consistently among the very best. For book three in this series he's written another excellent tale. Specifically:-Every bit as good as the first 2 books-Really creative ways to sabotage his enemy-Good battle elements and strategy-Good bit of administrative elements-The smut parts are not distracting to the story and among the best written I've come across-Despite having so many women, they each stand out and get development. It's never a case of "and he left the room kissing & hugging 14 generic women" or something similar that a lot of authors get trapped in after the first book-Still felt like the MC was challenged, he's not an overpowered marty/mary sue type-Continued to develop the crossover meta-story that links all the author's series-End was in a good place with no cliffhanger but other arcs clearly on the horizonLast thing I'll say is that it was helpful to look up some of the characters in his wiki when I picked this up. If you need a refresher before you start off check it out to review the characters and remember where things are at. It can be found by searching the web but I can't include a link here because *terms and rules*. Whatever.

Decent closure to the (hopefully first of more!) trilogy
What can I say? I admit I've become a complete fan of Randi Darren, and now blindly buy anything he writes, under this or his other name. He just plain writes entertaining stuff, and with very few typos or weird plot holes that many of the KU/litrpg/fantasy authors are prone to.The blurb at for the book covers the main points, and I'm not going to repeat it here, nor am I going to add spoilers. If you liked the first couple of books in this series, you'll like the third, simple as that. If you haven't read the first of the series, go back and do that first -- this is not the sort of book you can jump into the middle of, sorry. Nor would you want to.In fact, if you haven't read the author's other works, you should consider doing that as well. While not required at all, there are a few minor (but steadily growing) connections between several of the series. Not knowing them doesn't impact reading this series, but KNOWING them makes all the easter eggs so much more fun. (And the anticipation of those easter eggs eventually having more meaning is awesome... if they ever do.)Read. Enjoy.

If Machiavelli truly had 21st Century Knowledge
One of the best series I have read in a long time. The protagonist is one of the most canny I have followed in a long time. This review is for books 1 - 3. I am hopeful for books 4 - 6.

Wow Great Series
Impressive storyline with complex MC. I can't say enough about how I love the complexity and deep thinking of this. If you're tired of the same type of book in the Genre you need to read this series Can't wait until the next book is published.

Great read.
This serie keep getting better. Thre lots of characters at this point. However every single one is unique and broken enough to be interesting. Aside from that i really like how the plot escalates from local conflicts to conflicts involving the kingdom and hopefully a continetal later. The best part is that plot is logical.

Such a good stopping point.
I really loved it,especially the very last sentence. I do get tried of Alexander being captured and the like but it made sense realistically. Glad to also hear that this is only the end of the trilogy and not the story. Once all the others are wrapped there will more Fostering Faust. I actually started the first book a while back and didn't like one bit. But in the past few months with me just being bored I just decided to buy the books, enjoyed them, then brought the audiobooks and enjoyed them doubly so. Looking forward to the audiobook of this as well. Then when the story is picked back up again.

Another great read
Ok so now I'm up to date on all my Randi Darren/Darren Rand books and feeling rather annoyed. I understand you can't just click your fingers and have all the books finished but the waiting to read the next episode is so frustrating. As for my review... great book, great and varied characters with intriguing and intertwining storylines across each series. Yes it has rude bits that may upset those of a delicate nature but look beyond that and enjoy the great storytelling.
