Avon Ultra Luxury Eye Liner Eggplant

I like this eyebrow pencil and think it can work for any shade of blonde hair. It depends upon how heavy a hand you use when you apply it. If you have darker blonde hair then using heavier strokes will serve you will and add darker but natural looking pigmentation -- I always follow any eyebrow pencil with an eyebrow spoolie... trust me, it makes a *world* of a difference with making it blend and look natural. If you have light blonde hair then using lighter, feather strokes will be best for giving a light colored brow appearance.I recently went from brunette to very light ash blonde and needed a lighter eyebrow pencil *stat*! I decided to commit to this one because I have been happy with Avon products in the past and was hopeful about this. It didn't let me down! It is not twist-style, but rather a pencil that you will need to sharpen occasionally. The product stays in place throughout the day and looks nice with my new shade of hair. It does not have reddish undertones which was a must for me. Just a neutral shade of blonde that is very workable. Overall, very happy with this, and love the affordable price.

Ordered this product because I had read a review elsewhere about it. Wasn't holding out much hope that it would be any better than the other 5 eyeliner pencils that I already had, but I was wrong! It went on smoothly. It is super black which is exactly what I was looking for. It doesn't seem to irritate my eyes at all - a big plus because I have allergies. It sharpens nice and smoothly as well. All in all great product - I absolutely love it! It is well named as a luxury eye liner - it truly is!

I'm only giving this 4 stars not because the product was bad but because the shipping was astronomical. It was almost $8.00 to ship 2 tiny pencils and that was standard shipping in the continental US! However, I blame myself for not reading that more closely when when I went to check out. The pencils are great though, glide smoothly and match well with my blonde hair. Definitely a good product.

I am so bummed out that they discontinued this eyeliner 😪 it goes on so smoothly and the eggplant color would be perfect on any skin color and eye color. Sad to see it go

I have used Avon ultra luxury eye liner pencil in dark brown color for many years. Now that Avon has filed bankruptcy I can not find dark brown color. In looking on Amazon I saw the Avon ultra luxury eye liner pencil in eggplant color and shown scratched on a piece of paper and it looked dark, almost black, like an eggplant color is. What I received is a bright aqua color ( it says sky blue) it would look awful if I tried it, I wouldn't even use it for Halloween. A total waste of $13.00 for one pencil.

I am most definitely not an avon rep, just a busy working mom. I absolutely love this brow pencil! I have been penciling my brows for 12 years, this is by far the best brow liner I have come across. I have used just about every drug store brow pencil, they're unnaturally colored & hideously obvious. A lot of my eyebrows are missing, it's hard for me to make them look unquestionably natural, but this is the closest I've come to a natural look. The pencil is firm, yet not too firm. You have to sharpen it I'd say after 3 or 4 applications, & I fill in quite a bit of brow since I'm missing a lot of eyebrow hair. If you touch your face a lot you will probably smudge the eyebrow pencil. However, I've even slept with this pencil on my brows, and only needed to do small touch ups the next day. I love this pencil, and get a new one ordered from this seller nearly every 6 months.

These eye-liners were okay, but shipping was exhorbitant. They are a nice, true deep color, but for me, they don't sharpen well at all. I would not buy them again, but I have read where some other people like them a lot. I guess it's just a matter of preference. I would not pay this shipping again, and it took too long a time for them to mail them out to me.

I think positive reviews must have been left by Avon representatives. I usually use Rimmel eyebrow pencils, they are crazy cheap (well, not on Amazon, but at any store) , and they work great but I wanted to try something else as cheap; I will stick with Rimmel. Avon pencil is very soft, line comes out in clumps, it dulls immediately (you have to sharpen it a few times just to use it once), colour is not dark but light brown, it wipes off very easily and I risk walking around with one eyebrow all day unless I check my face every five minutes. .
