Wow
These more than doubled in price in one month. As much as cans were. Cans have jumped, as well. Totally understandable from higher costs of productions.I’m switching to just Sardine’s which for now are stable. Just in case ordered two cases.Fortunately I stocked up on five multi packs at $12.74 sub and save before the 50% plus increase.Once all this stock runs out will still patron less at whatever the cost. I believe very strongly in this company and it’s products.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯/\ updateI've been buying cases in cans for a couple of years. Amazon is way more affordable than per can in brick and mortar stores.Seeing these jumped at the opportunity. Same amount smaller packaging and need for storage space. At any given time I’ve had a couple of cases of sardines and tuna varieties which take up a significant amount of space in the built-in pantry. With this packet option, I'm saving room and money. As for flavor, I prefer this over the albacore. To me, this is a juicer and the other is dry. I don't use mayo. Just a little organic Chipolte Ranch from Aldi or the Balsamic Vinegarette if needing a little flavor. In the summertime, my community grows and shares all types of veggies. This brand always offers amazing options for fish products to make high-protein meals during warm months.Another benefit is that cats and dog enjoys wild fish, too. And, I feel happy to share for their health, as well.Funny story, I usually give the cats this company fish products. One time I tried the Bumble Bee brand and they refused it. Their sardines are so scrawny compared this brand.Anyway, ever since I never tried another brand for our sardine parties. The German Shepherd and his two cats sit with me on a blanket and wait for their servings of the water to drain. And bits of fish. This is one reason I order so much because I share as much as I eat.Definitely repurchasing.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯

Cheaper than Good Cat Food
5.19.22~ Stay with me here. I'm not saying this is cat food. What I'm saying is most foods, my meat loving feline approves, are expensive. Her current fave is 'Almo' that has jumped to almost 2 bucks for 3 oz can.Little Miss "I-don't-have-a-job-and-won't-eat-cheap-tuna" loves 'Wild Planet'.The cans are not cheap either so was thrilled to find these pouches. The price fluctuates but usually can S&S at about a buck for a 3oz pouch. The bonus here is I like it too.So instead of having to buy separate cat food, we have one tuna for the house.Nice quality, Clean-looking filets. Just enough water to pack. (Add extra to cat's offering). In addition to satisfying cat standards, probably higher than Harvard,It's yummy as a "steak" on a salad with lemon & salt or mixed with mayo on crackers. Please 'Wild Planet' whatever anomaly makes this affordable, don't change it.From a Sustainable Perspective,'Wild Planet' is on the Certified List by seafoodwatch.org (a non-profit site).Great food good for our heads, hearts & bellies. Enjoy

about as good as tuna gets
Good flavors, no additives, no lost omegas. Very natural and not particularly "fishy" flavored, making for a solid protein source on-demand.It comes out of the pouch in a thin slab like pate, but takes just 30-60 seconds with a fork to break into it a more familiar consistency. I suggest adding olive oil, salt, peppers, and seasoning as you do that. Top with your favorite hot sauce and serve on a hot pita. YUM!But the big thing here is the type of tuna, how it was caught, and its low mercury content.Unlike the attitudes us older folks may remember towards dirt-cheap, low-quality, mass-caught tuna in the last century (with huge amounts of by-kill wasted)-- today tuna is high-value, increasingly rare, an overfished and overstretched resource, and many species have absorbed the toxins we've put into the oceans.Line caught, faster-growing species from sustainably managed wild populations of "young" fish are the only way we get to keep eating tuna in the future. So, buy this better stuff and make sure tuna doesn't become a thing people "used to" eat.Recommended.

Different tuna taste & A+ health benefits. Gotten too expensive.
This skip jack tuna is good with an excellent amount of protein and I like that it doesn't have any extra ingredients and is sustainably resourced. It's supposed to be safe to eat up to four times a week versus once a week for albacore due to lower mercury in skip jack than albacore. My family likes the flavor better than albacore (I don't—tastes weird to me, but I still eat it because it's healthy). The price hike since June (it's the end of July) has been horrific, though, from $12 Subscribe & Save for a unit of twelve pouches to $30! (Shipped and sold from Amazon) No tuna is worth that. Worse, Subscribe & Save shows only a single unit price when I have more than one ordered and it caused me overcharge last month. So not happy about that. Guess I'll "skip" this tuna for now. It is jacked, after all.

easy to stash
I love that they are in a pouch and not in cans. They are easy to stash in your emergency bag and don't take up much room. Since they are not in cans, they are light weight and you don't have to worry about disposal. Simply throw empty pouch into fire and instant clean up.

Great flavor, flip-top cans are a must!
I love this tuna and the value. I prefer the sea salt variety and appreciate the cans with flip-tops, so I can always get them open. Good product.
