Great sound
Love the color of the bullet cone in red and how the grill from ds18 accents it all. Update: bought two and both wired to a kicker 400.4. One side sounds as if the speaker has some defect at high notes. Swapped and it has the same issue on the other side. Going to see about replacing it

Sounds Great. This is a MID BASS NOT A SUBWOOFER
I installed this as a mid bass on a 4 way car stereo system. By adding this as a mid bass I was able to lower the crossover on the sub, and raise the crossover on the mid highs. The punch this speaker gave was pretty amazing for such an inexpensive driver. I highly recommend this, but use a crossover that is capable of sending the right frequency range to them. It sounded great before, but the added low mids this speaker gave was the missing link.
