The things we do for our beloved dogs... Having a piece of paper towel at the ready to clean off the tines if needed helps. The scooper works well as long as the poop isn't too mushy, in which case I wait until it has dried a bit. The size is good for me, but a tall person will have to bend over. It picks up one deposit at a time, so I clean up with a bucket lined with a plastic bag. Why would i ever need to fold it? Seems pointless to me, but yet i cannot find any on amazon without this additional function. Just makes the design weaker & less sturdy. The tiny tab which keeps it from folding is very flimsy, so sometimes it slides off the tab on its own & tries folding.
