Great pedals and cleat combination - its shimano, how bad could it be!
Excellent pedals and cleat combination for a fair price. While you could be a weight weenie and spend $100+ more on the ultegra or 105 pedals to save some weight, these for the price (with cleats) are and an excellent deal. The adjustable nature of these are easy as you are able to dial the spring down to a easy tension (for those with knee issues or for those who want a quick escape, ie city riders such as myself) However, the top of the range is secure as the best of them and unless you're road racing, is almost too secure.

Good starter set! Easy to install and comfortable to use!
A good pair of starter cleats. I had no idea what to buy as these were my first set and they were very easy to isntall on the bike as well as the cleats on the shoes. I'm finally starting to get the hang of them and now i cant understand how people ride without cleats!Just make sure that you locate the ball of your foot and that the cleats are attached there. Also, I had issues of my cleats getting loose over rides so I now make sure i carry my allen wrench to make sure they dont come loose on the shoe.

these are good clipless and easy in and out
these are good clipless and easy in and out. Only thing do not like is fact they are front end weighted and when unclipped it can be a bit of a struggle getting them horizontal to clip back in. solid product and up to Shimano standards .Looking at trying the other style clipless on other bike to see which prefer ( the others being 2 sided which may well be better idea). These are good once get used to them , but can be a bit frustrating if don't get them to clip back on quickly

Solid and easy to install.
Using these for a few weeks now with no complaints. Might be a little on the heavy side but they seem durable and they work well.

Yes!
I'm a rookie at this stuff, but I really like these! It takes a bit of practice to learn how to detach from the pedals, but it's nice to finally use the energy to be pulling the pedals up now and hit a different groupset of muscles. High-quality materials, but remember that the left pedal is a left-handed thread, so that "righty-tighty" bs won't cut it here on the left pedal! Practice in a safe place!!!

You get what you pay for
In my honest opinion, these are just fine for starter pedals, but upgrading to the Shimano 105 SPDsl pedals might just be worth it. The cleats that come in the box are a slightly different shade of yellow as your typical +/- 6degree float cleats. This means that they are in fact slightly lower quality and will wear down more quickly. Additionally, installing or swapping these pedals can be a big pain because you need a wrench to install them. They do not go on from the inside with an 8mm allen wrench like the nicer models do. As for performance, the do the trick. They were incredibly hard to clip in to at first but it only took a couple rides to break them in a little. I have never had any issues like unclipping by mistake. These will be a fine pedal for someone who wants to start off competitive cycling or just wants to try clipless pedals. There is definitely much better out there, but for the price, they will certainly do the trick.

... first pair of clipless pedals and although I was super nervous about switching from athletic shoes to bike shoes
This is my first pair of clipless pedals and although I was super nervous about switching from athletic shoes to bike shoes, these pedals made the transition super easy. I love how the pedals are weighted so I don't have to fumble to get the correct side on top as I slide my clips in. They were easy to install, too. The guys at my local bike shop had me all confused about the different types of pedals/clips, but I'm glad I read the reviews and decided to give these a try. I clipped right in on the first try and haven't looked back ever since.

Great
Loving these. Been cycling maybe 3 years. First time with cleats. Three rides so far averaging 2 hours a ride, clicking in and out like a boss.Been over a year now, a little wear and tear as expected. The little yellow tips to the each side have worn down some (Not the large yellow border across the top - that's still fine). Still clipping in and out perfectly. I have adjusted the tension to increase/decrease the ease of clip. I do no less than 4 hours a week most weeks about 9 hours cycling. I'm training so I work a lot of steep uphill into it. When I ride with the club we do a lot of high speed. I'm staying clipped in 100% of the time. I'm actually gonna buy another pair of these for my second bike
