Really impressed with our purchase. I will admit I wasn’t expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised with how the device works. Time will tell if it continues to perform. My wife was having difficulty peeling potatoes because of arthritis, so hopefully now I will still be having CHIPS WITH EVERYTHING. 👌

Certainly peels the potatoes but very much is a gimmick. I say this because it doesn’t get the top or bottom of the potato. So you are still having to pull out the peeler to finish it off. It can handle misshapen potatoes but not perfectly and not consistently. You’ll buy this, use it but it will become something you stop using very quickly as it serves a novelty over functionality. In a kitchen functionality king. If you are unable to peel potatoes due to dexterity issues with your hands then absolutely this will help. As long as you can manoeuvre the mechanism up and down to accommodate each potato. Though if dexterity is your main reason for purchase I’d suggest looking for other options.

I had been wondering about a device like this now my thumbs resent me attempting to peel anything. I love apples, but it is so messy, with sticky hands and cutting board. Well that hasn't changed much, but oh boy, is it fun to see the peel come off in one complete ribbon! A friend of mine was given a very large bag of apples, and most have rotted as she has the same problem as me with hand peeling. I have recommended this auto peeler to her. I have not actually tried a potato yet, I am not sure how it will cope with the scar left from getting rid of the roots that have begun seeding them, as, again because of thumbs, I have not peeled any lately. The peeler at least saves my hands and I love watching it, as well as its efficiency. I was told to take a few goes at it to familiarise myself with it, but so far no falling fruit or veg on the floor. Great device and if you have kids, after a basic safety lesson, avoid the blade it is vicious, they will have great fun, like me.

The machine was working good first time, but after few uses now it stop working I don’t know where the problem starts to take break half way then now doesn’t work at all waste of time and money

I wish I'd bought this years ago! Takes all the tedious work out of cooking. Machine is sturdy and works very well. We've tried potatoes, apples and oranges so far and nothing seems too difficult, and I was pretty sceptical at first.

Product does not do what it’s expected to do. It takes chunks out of the apples etc rather than thin slices. Blades changed. No difference. Refund requested and confirmed within a couple of hours. Happy with seller, unhappy with product.

Didn't peel potatoes at all. Absolutely useless and waste of money.

I live in Australia and I was sent this item with a UK plug adapter…. Go figure. The frame of this item is a very flimsy plastic and the blade did not safely sit properly. I wouldn’t buy this product. And the supplier did not have any information as to where the product actually comes from….
