All three sides of the covered is starting to come apart and pretty banged up. Disappointed I ordered the first 3 perfect condition, the last 3 books came in damaged like this.

This is the fifth book about the Warrens which I have read. The best part of this book about a man suffering from being possessed by animal spirit are Ed and Lorraine Warren. The demonologist and psychic duo shine forth in this disturbing tale about 'werewolvism.' The Warrens provide him the help and connection with an exorcist to help the victim. While not as scary as their other books, this book peels back the emotional and psychic trauma that the victim, Bill Ramsey undergoes. The best and most gripping parts of the book are the revelations about the possession. It was a decent read but not their best. Still, it is worth the time.

If you read this book as a piece of fiction you will probably enjoy it more than reading it as a legitimate Warren case based in real life. I find the writing to be more based in the realm of fiction anyway and it was a very interesting read so not bad, just a little unbelievable and off at times.

I love reading the case files of Ed & Lorraine Warren! The first one I read was "The Demonologist", which I had years ago when I was in school. I was fascinated with the tales in there and it was where I was first introduced to "Annabelle."These new editions are much better than the versions I had in the past, with cleaner print, easier on the eyes. Several have photos that are much more clear than some of the previous editions.I am so glad these books are back in print, and in a pleasant, matching collection. Be sure to get all of them, and be ready for many chilling nights reading the spooky stories that will give you lots of restless sleep. :)

another Ed and Lorraine Warren book great book about a great subject about great people have to love Ed and Lorraine Warren a kid and a very interesting circumstances and I always come true to their word either they can help you or they can't and they'll tell you and like unlike most people hey tell you the truth and if they do not charge you money for their services

This was a fantastic account of Bill Ramsay and the demon who plagued him! I can't wait to read more by Ed and Lorraine.

Not bad

Ich habe schon einige Bücher von Ed und Lorraine Warren gelesen. Aber dieses Buch ist meiner Meinung nach Fake. Dieses Buch behandelt einen einzelnen Fall. Die Geschichte hätte man in wenigen Seiten erzählen können (Achtung Spoiler): Mann besessen von bösem Geist, Exorzismus durchgeführt, Mann geheilt. Stattdessen wurde das Buch unnötig aufgebläht und in die Länge gezogen. Von jeder unbedeutenden Neben-Person, die darin vorkommt, wird die gesamte Lebensgeschichte erzählt. 95% des Buches wurde im Romanstil geschrieben, d. h., Diagloge bis ins kleinste Detail ausgeführt, z. B. wohin irgendeine unbedeutende Nebenperson gerade blickte oder was sie gerade dachte oder fühlte, als sie dies oder jenes sagte oder tat. Sorry, aber woher wollen die Autoren das wissen, die nicht mal mit den Personen selbst sprechen konnten sondern lediglich recherchiert haben? Meines Erachtens definitiv ausgedacht.Einzig authentisch erscheinen mir die paar wenigen, kurzen und wahllos in das Buch eingestreute Interviews mit den Betroffenen zu sein. Ich behaupte nicht, dass das ganze Buch erfunden ist, sondern lediglich die ganze Geschichte 95% drumherum, so dass ein ganzes Buch daraus wird. So wie ein Spielfilm, der zwar nach einem wahren Tatsachenbericht gedreht wurde, die Dialoge und das ganze Drumherum jedoch ausgedacht sind.Am meisten geärgert haben mich die Werwolf-Fotos in dem Buch. Diese sind allesamt Werwolf-Filmen aus Hollywood "entliehen". Sorry, sowas brauche ich nicht. Wenn ich Hollywood-Werwölfe sehen will, schaue ich mir einen entsprechenden Film an. Und wenn ich einen ausgeschmückten Roman lesen will, dann kaufe ich mir einen Roman und kein Buch, das als Tatsachenbericht verkauft wird. Ich fühle mich hier veräppelt und für dumm verkauft und stelle aufgrund dieser Erfahrung den Wahrheitsgehalt der anderen Bücher dieser Autoren in Frage.

This is by far one of the most unusual cases of demonic possession as skillfully told by the Warrens. If you follow their work you will no doubt enjoy this book.

Bought this book for my mom, who is a huge Ed & Lorraine Warren fan and it's safe to say that she loved it. She now has all of their books thanks to Amazon.
