NARSSheer Glow Foundation, Punjab/Medium, 1 Ounce

The NARS Sheer Glow Foundation is my go-to foundation in the evening. I sometimes use it during the day, too, but always with a damp makeup sponge to keep it sheer and light. But with a dry sponge or my foundation brush ( Sigma Beauty Flat Kabuki - F80 )-- my all-time makeup secret--it's a dream come true. It's provides intense coverage, a great, even coloring and for Asian skin like mine with olive and yellow undertones, it creates a flawless look that is camera-ready.I use the color "Punjab" but keep in mind that I'm quite dark-skinned for a Korean. But this particular one requires no neck-blending because it's just perfect in coloring.I have 3-4 regular foundations I keep on hand for different purposes -- like one for days when I know I'll be photographed (Chanel!) and others for outdoor activities or events where I know I'll get hot, and another where I want to look as natural as possible, or when I feel like my skin looks pretty outstanding on its own, a BB cream. And then the NARS. Of those four, the NARS is probably my most versatile in that what tool I use to apply it can easily make it more or less, depending on my needs.I highly recommend it. You' ll just need to experiment a little with color. Personally, if I guess and I'm off by a little, I just mix with a foundation of the right color to blend it to the ideal color, so no big deal. I have plenty that are a little too dark, or a little too light, and that's what I keep those for!I just wish the cover was usable with the pump that I bought with it! Alas, it's not, so the pump stays exposed--which isn't such a big deal but ideally, I could put a cover over that pump.Oh, and a little secret for those of you with oily skin like me: a few spritzes of this item below along with NARS Sheer Glow and a fresh application of Ben Nye Banana Powder--and you can leave your compact powder at home for a full day without an ounce of shine.SPRAY: Ben Nye - Final Seal 8 Fl.oz./236ml.

Versatile foundation can be easily mixed and matched to get any variations in shade. Great for North Indian skin tones like Punjabis - looks great in photos

This is my go to foundation however, this seller is not displaying the correct shade. The one I received is about 4-5 shades darker than the one in the image. Again- LOVE this foundation. Seller is not showing correct color image.

I really love this foundation. It goes on smoothly and it doesn't take much to get good coverage. I also love the dewy look I get with this foundation. The only problem is, is that I have oily skin so I have to use a sheer setting powder over it to avoid my skin looking overly shiny.

The foundation looks good on my skin color, however my skin breaks out almost suddenly after using it. I have used many many different foundations without issues (both high end and low end ones). but this one makes it appear bad like ant bites. Same thing happens with the NARS orgasm illuminator.. don't know why? i want to like the product but my skin doesn't..

I switched to NARS after my former brand of foundation became so pricey. I’ll never go back. This foundation looks like I just have a smooth and natural look (for an over-75 woman!), not pasty or orange!
