Love the look, not too bad to install and love the amount of light it provides for hall ways.Good, construction (about the same as any other small hall light), price was right, allows up to 100 watt bulbs. I installed it myself and used 2 75 watt bulbs and liked the effect.Good product, good simple straightforward design & style, works well for our home.I would suggest others purchase this unit for their home.HES, Greenville, SC

I purchased a few of these for my bedroom closets - they are a great value and build quality. I used LED bulbs which produce a nice warm white through the glass on these units. Installation only took a few minutes each. They use little thumb screws to secure the glass to the unit.Would highly recommend!

I purchased 3 of these for my home, one for a new installation and 2 as replacements. One did arrive with the glass globe broken, but Amazon made it super easy to return for replacement (although it took a little over a week to get it). Otherwise, all were in good condition with no scratches and no missing parts.The installations were pretty straightforward; however the instructions that came with them were confusing to say the least. I've installed many of these type fixtures so I didn't have a problem, but if this is your first time, the instructions may leave you scratching your head. Also, the insulation is kind of loose, making it a bit difficult to line up the ceiling mounting screws with the slots, and when you tighten the screws you need to check that no insulation is poking out between the fixture and ceiling. You also want to be careful tightening the screws that hold the globe to the fixture, as it looks like the globe could crack if you crank them down too much.All that said though, these are nice fixtures, and we like the oil-rubbed bronze finish and the decorative globes. It's also nice that it hold 2 bulbs instead of one, this gives you more options to obtain the brightness you need. If not for the things I mentioned above, I would have given this 5 stars.

Looks like good quality and installed easily.

Had to replace the standard white light over the toilet because the prior owner repainted the ceiling and got paint all over it which looks so amateur and horrific that it had to go during a remodel. This light looks a million times better, both the fixture and the actual glass looks so much classier its actually funny considering its basically free compared to other items on the remodel list yet makes a huge improvement in looks. Package came in great shape, packed well with no damage to glass as some have mentioned.

The light arrived well packaged and just as described from the manufacturer. The installation was a fairly simple process and took about 20 minutes overall to replace from our previous fixture. Overall, it adds additional light to our upstairs hallway and would recommend to others.

Upgrading construction grade fixtures is such an inexpensive way to uplift the look of your home and give it that finished look. It's so easy. I kick myself for not doing it sooner.I was ordering lighting for my kitchen re-do (that is my project for the year) and I ordered these simple oil-rubbed bronze dome lights for the upstairs hallway, while I was ordering the kitchen lights. (The little brass fixture is the old, construction grade.)Great price for an upgraded look. (I figured I have enough pendant lights and chandeliers, so the dome lights worked well for the top of the stairs.)All "oil-rubbed bronze" is a faux finish. The finish on this light is not high end... but they're on the ceiling! Who's going to get close enough to evaluate the quality of the finish. I'm happy with my purchase.

This light was perfect for three bedroom closets just renovated with the upstairs in our 95-year-old home, having much of the old-fashioned, arts-and-crafts style of other original fixtures in the house. We initially ordered three together from another source to do the closets, but one had a broken portion of the glass right up under the rim, and which therefore had to be returned. A fourth ordered singly to make up the three needed came intact.Be aware that the glass of the globe is very thin around the inside of the rim, so don't be surprised if it arrives broken. Installation much like any other modern ceiling light fixture.
