We constantly have birds nesting in inconvenient areas around the house. Above our doors and outside furniture. I tried everything from hanging pieces of foil, shiny cd's, pinwheels, you name it, but fake snakes did the trick to scare away the nesting birds. There are plenty of places around the house birds can safely nest, so I didn't feel bad scaring them away! I will be buying more of these snakes this year. I'm still experimenting with using them on blueberry bushes.

I bought these to put in a basket that I hang on my front door. I love the birds, but they always make a nest in whatever I have on my door and this has stopped them so far.

Keeps birds out of my carport. They will fall apart after a bout 5 or 6 months tho

These are much smaller than they appeared on the order page. No bigger in diameter than my little pinky. A bit smaller, and only about 18" long. They are not realistic at all, very fake. I bought them in the hopes of keeping the neighbor's ducks from roosting on my dock and pooping everywhere. The ducks totally ignored them and one even used one as a nest and slept on top of it every night. Not even worth the hassle of a return.

Perfect size to put in rafters and eves to keep sparrows out.
