Pentel K437C WOW! Retractable Gel Pen, .7mm, Trans Barrel, Blue Ink, Dozen

These are my favorite pens right now! They have a very triangular grip which reminds me a little of being in kindergarten with a special writing tool on my pencil, but I do actually seem to write a little neater with these so maybe it helps. Make sure to pull the little plastic piece off the tip before writing, otherwise you will be confused. Overall, it's a great pen that writes smooth. I hope that the company makes some 0.5 mm ones soon too.

Like all the features of this pen. I like the flow and the size of the writing.

I love the shape it makes it so comfortable to hold if you are doing a lot of writing. I saw the other reviews I thankfully have not had those issues cuz they are by far my favorite pen. I go through a lot of them not because the ink has run out but because every time someone borrows it they want to keep it.

I had used one of these pens at a friend's house and liked the way it wrote so I ordered a box of my own. Disappointed. Ink is very dry. When you write, the letters in your words are spotty, some come in dark, some are broken up and some you can't see at all. You really have to struggle to get any ink to come out of the pen. Tried other pens in the box and had the same problem. Does not look professional when signing documents or when writing checks. Maybe the ink was just old and I had the unfortunate luck to get a bad box. Won't order again.

I really like the way this pen writes. Smooth, with no mess. I only wish the ink would last longer. I'll probably buy another box.

I always buy my AP English Language and Composition students these pens to use for the essay portion of their AP exam, because it's 2 hours straight of writing. They say it's comfortable and writes very smoothly without running out of ink.

I find that they write better than other gel pens and are quite comfortable to hold. But they do run out of ink, the cheapest part of the pen, too quickly. YET at less than 6 bucks for a dozen they may yet be a bargain. So I'm buying a second box, hoping that whatever Chinese garage cranks these out receives orders from Pentel Central to be more generous with the gel. I'm not banking on it, however. (I knew I shouldn't have trashed my gel ration coupons.)

WOW! is an appropriate name for these pens. I love them. Writing is clean and fluid. Mechanism works well and the grip is nice. Already stocked up on them and will keep buying.
