Update 11/5/19: It is one thing when a product is awful and doesn't work the way it is advertised. It is a completely different situation when a company tries to pay you off in the area of $60 USD directly to my paypal or amazon gift card to delete an honest review of their awful product. I received this email from their rep "KEVIN" recently. In my eyes a company that would rather be deceptive and mis-representing of their product is a company that does not deserve mine, or anyone else's business. Instead of working to improve their product they want to further deceive consumers by paying off those who would leave honest bad reviews for their crap products instead??? Be very cautious when dealing with these people. Do NOT trust them as they have shown me how obviously dishonest they are. STAY AWAY!!!!!My first rating and post: I took a chance and brought this as my main camera to a family reunion this year. What a horrible mistake. The pictures were all dark and grainy even though the event was outside on an overcast day. This is generally amazing picture-taking weather. Unless I was perfectly still taking the pictures it would blur. I did have my phone with me and I did take a few pictures with that. Those were the only decent pictures of the day. Terribly disappointed but a lesson learned. You get what you pay for.This may be good as a first camera for young kids where the shot quality isnt always so so important. But if you need good quality, clarity or just legible pictures, this isnt the camera for you, me or anyone..

Update to original post:I was shocked at the terrible product I received based on the lack of negative reviews when I purchased. However, after leaving my original post below I was just contacted by a representative of this product offering 40 USD directly into my paypal account to delete my review. They did not address the poor quality of their product, they did not suggest I simply received a defective product, they just offered money to delete my review. This is definitely buyer beware!Original Review:I’m a fairly lazy person when it comes to returns, but I’m actually returning this purchase. To be fair to the company, shipping was much faster than expected which was great since I purchased this for my impatient 6 year old. However, quality of the product is FAR below the reviews. The camera is very cheaply made and feels like it’ll break in your hands at any moment. There is a switch on the side of the camera that changes between close up and scenic views that feels like it’s going to break the whole camera every time I use it. The camera never focused for any image (I’m experienced with photography and couldn’t get it to focus) and after fully charging the battery for over 15 hours it died after only 3 pictures. I would strongly urge you to reconsider purchasing this product and go with a better known proven point and shoot. For the time being my 12 year old Olympus point and shoot is still a significantly better option for my son and I’m disappointed that I even gave this a try.

UPDATE (Nov 2019): The company contacted me and refunded my money. I was really surprised that they had such great customer service and concern for my situation. I may have just gotten a "lemon" as far as the camera because so many other people that bought it really liked it. The company stands behind their product and will send you a new one or refund your money with Amazon gift card. Very pleased.Original Post: We cannot get the battery to charge. I bought the camera early for my daughters birthday so it sat in the box at least a month before we took it out. I need a new camera. Very disappointed.

We were looking for a affordable and portable digital camera for our son to bring to hi's 5th grade outdoor education camp since no mobile phones were allowed. This seemed to fit the criteria - something affordable and easy to use.Unlike other other digital camera, the user-interface isn't as intuitive to figure out. The menus aren't too clear, even with the icons displayed.As for picture quality, eh . . . . I think our mobile phones take better pictures. But if you're looking for an affordable alternative to using a mobile phone, this might satisfy you. However, if given the choice, I would grab my iPhone before this camera . . .

10/11/19 Shortly after I wrote original review I was contacted by Kevin of Suntak Co. maker of the HD Digital camera who asked if I would be willing to try the camera again at no cost. I have done so and find the camera to be excellent. Pictures are bright and clean and the camera is easy to use.I would now recommend it. More importantly Kevin's customer service was excellent. Cheers to a company who stands behind their product.8/19 We were never able to get the camera to take pictures. I thought perhaps I was causing a problem but I had other adults try with no luck. Likable like it would be a great student camera. It came with a light eight carry bag and wrist step. Amazon great with return. I had credit card reimbursement in 3 days

I was looking for cameras for my kids. I got this as recommendation from Amazon. I ordered it the moment i saw it and I never regret my decision. This is the best gift ever I bought for kid. She loves the camera so much and keeps taking pictures all day. X-MAS will be more fun as she wants to carry the camera everywhere , beach, parks. It keeps my kid engaged all day. You can just use the camera as soon as you unbox it. Another best thing i see in this product is, the camera is already charged. All you have to do is to open the box and start clicking the pictures. This Camera is amazing all by itself. I highly recommend this to everyone. I am planning to buy some and gift them to friends

I bought this for my senior-citizen Mom (who's owned many digital cameras). It didn't work well for her because the buttons are very small (the camera is nice and compact), but it's a good choice for a child interested in photography or an adult who just wants a pocket camera. Lots of features on it.
