One of the screws was bigger size than the other, and was stuck. I couldn't get it off. It took me 20 minutes fiddling with it just to not damage the lock. But I managed to sort it, and it works. But in a future use the same size screws.

I bought this lock expecting to secure a reptile that kept escaping from its cage. After buying this and paying for express delivery I was very disappointed when the key snapped the first time I tried to use it. For what I paid I would expect it to work not break on first use.

Cheap and solid little lock. You need to put two washers on one side to get the glass to slide with the vivexotic vivarium. Happy with it though.

Decent product fits well enough. I did have to put both rubber washers on the outside due to the spacing on my Viv but still works well. There is a slight miss alignment with the actual locking mechanism and the insert holes however if you J-J-J-Jiggle a bit it's fine.

I purchased this lock for my snakes viv and I installed it less than 24 hours ago. The key has already snapped inside of the lock. I’m quite disappointed and unsatisfied

i have an older vivexotic that this JUST fits into. installation was a bit fiddley and did not come with any written information. lucky for me im not using with venomous or escape artists. it does scrap the section panel of glass when opening or closing, so the newer vivexotics there is no way this will fit.overall for me it works. probebly not for most people.taking out one of the rubber washers wont do anything other than leave the lock loose and rattling. maybe if you used a metal file to file down the inside of the lock you could make it work.
