Connect the cord from the led lights into the Alexa Smart Plug and plug it into the wall, then it should work when you call out to Alexa. Sorry if I’m late. But I think that should work. 😁👍 **Q: If i buy 2 will i be able to connect both of them** A: So I bought 2 orders and linked 2 16 RGB lights to each connection. So 32ft on each power connection and the output power is not enough. The led strips are bright at the connection side but at the tail end side they dont have enough power to light the whole strip. **Q: Are each one 32 feet?** A: The kit contains two strands of 16 ft each that no longer connect together but can now only each connect directly into the transformer. They've changed the product in late 2019 to longer connect into one 32 ft strand. You now have the added expense/trouble to track down generic electronic connectors if you still want one 32 ft stands **Q: How many light strips can you plug back to back? Can I plug in 3 strips back to back?** A: Do yourself a favor and get the LED clips ( icreating sells a 200 packs for under $10 ) had my lights put up with a adhesive fall down 3 times before I got these .
