Just received. It slides on the first 6mm then there is a step which stops it going on to the lock position. need to shave plastic off mount

Hi Bob, It hasn’t happened to me so far. In my opinion, if the bike attachment is faulty, I’d return it to the seller and ask for a replacement, shaving bits off might damage it more and stop serving its purpose.. However, it’s your call. I have personally, contacted the seller, when one of the lights I ordered from them, stopped working properly, that happened after the 28 day return policy, and they sent me a completely new bike light. That’s my experience with the seller. All the best.

Don't know, but probably China I got a replacement as the light bracket was broken Their English was poor.
