When I realized that this camera had no infrared lights I was upset. This immediately went away when I saw the quality of the nigh time picture. I mounted this PTZ at my front door. I have a front yard light with a low wattage bulb and my neighbors have some house lighting. This is more than enough for this camera to give excellent night views. If it is pitch black where you need it go with a different model. If you have some to little lighting, this one will blow the ifrared ones away.

I love this camera however, built into the firmware to "protect itself" the camera stops the touring function at 5000 "movement' left. Very unhappy.
