At least that has been my skin’s experience of it. It’s one I would use again (Doublebase did nothing for my skin) **Q: Can this be used instead of soap?** A: No its to be applied to dry skin **Q: Can this product be used under make up** A: Hi, yes it can be used under makeup. I put it on first and give it a few minutes to absorb. Rub it in well. Apply your usual foundation next and allow to dry in. This is how I use mine. I use this for washing myself and the kids - no soap required. I also apply throughout the day. It keeps my skin feeling comfortable. On the downside it does leave my skin a bit slippery and my face a bit shiny! If you wear glasses, expect to need to clean them more.
