I loved the way this looked when it arrived. Unfortunately, the round handle that you hold on to open the lid is made too small to grasp and open the lids. Not only did I try but so did family members. I had to return it as it wouldn't be easy to use the way it is made. I do note that the lids do not fit securely on the base. I would think that this wouldn't keep the heat in well although I didn't use the item to verify this. I've had several styles of tortilla bowls and love them for keep food warm while cooking and serving.

The handle to lift the lid is too short for fingers to grab sufficiently to open the container. Fingers slip off the handle. We are going to glue an extension to the center of the handle lift to open the handle. Otherwise, the containers are a good size and attractive.
