Perfect for Trimming
The clipper is small and perfect size for shaving dog’s paws. Shaves even thick hair on my dog’s legs. So far so good!

Stopped after 4 months
When I was a young person I “didn’t need directions”. As I matured I realized the many benefits of reading an items included instructions & other documents. (Proper use, care & maint, warranty POC info, replacement parts contact info, etc.) Having served in the military I learned the importance of ‘technical data’ if you will. This naturally bled over into my civilian life and I typically read everything that comes with an item. Especially when the item is electrical. A lot of companies have qr codes now to make registration of a product easier.Anyway, I bought this clipper after my barber recommended it for beard trimming. He said it was a little workhorse, and he wasn’t wrong. Other than it only coming with #1,2,3&4 blade guards, using it was a pleasure. I typically use a #5 for my lower beard. *Note: I called and asked about buying additional blade “spacers”, but was told they do not make anything beyond a #4 for these. Now, the instructions do have some specific requirements and warning for charging the unit. The instructions are fairly clear and state not to charge “unless it needs a charge”. So that’s what I did. It would last 4-6 beard touch ups (5-10 min ea) and then I’d place it on the charger for an hour. It fit right into a little pencil bag I got on clearance for 99 cents at the local office supply store. I was pretty happy overall. The problem: I purchased these clippers on August 30th, 2022. On January 2nd, I attempted to use them after a fresh charging session and they wouldn’t turn on. I plugged them in and they WOULD turn on, so after two more charging attempts I realized the battery was no longer taking a charge. So approximately 4 months after purchasing these clippers that are rated for small animals (I only say this because it makes me believe they were designed for a more prolonged use) it has stopped working. I’m going to take a swing at contacting customer support (January 31st) and I’ll post an updated review regarding the support experience.***I know it’s been 29 days between the time they stopped working and my contacting customer svc. It hasn’t been a number one priority in my life, you could say.)

Sleek, small, quiet, reliable, but not for Angora rabbit hair.
Okay... I love this little clipper for it's charging base, slick design, and reliability, but it'll be for human use, as it doesn't do a thing to my angora rabbit's hair unless it has no attachments and is pushed up against my own skin with the rabbit's hair between this and my skin. I'm keeping it because I like it, but I'm bummed that I have to try yet another clipper for my rabbit. 5* for human use, but 4* for it's intended use for me :)

Finally! Cliche, but true...You get what you pay for...
My cockapoo is quite the outdoor dog. Take him mountbiking all time. But he gets "frito feet" which is caused by a bacteria or yeast that grows between the toes, and it gets into the ears too. I regularly trim between his toes, above and between pads, and that makes a big difference, plus shampooing and using Curaseb Antifungal & Antibacterial Chlorhexidine Spray for Dogs & Cats, and Otic ($$$) for the ears. But I had a real hard time finding a small trimmer that works well. I got a cheap battery operated one at Walmart ($10). Last 3 months and stopped working. Then I bought VISSON Dog Clippers Grooming Kit for Small Dogs Cats - Professional Pet Hair Trimmers - USB Rechargeable Low Noise Cordless Electric Clippers. While this was higher quality, it just didn't work well at all. The trimmer blade was too small and didn't really cut well (it was 1/2 metal and 1/2 ceramic, but looked like plastic to me. Returned it next day. Then I order this one and right out of the box (before full charging) gave it a try. YEEHAW! You get what you pay for!! This costs three times more ($51), but it why waste money on junk? It works like a dream (so far). It's high quality, indeed, surgical quality. That is no exaggeration. Cuts quickly, thoroughly, and very maneuverable. Will use for face and "private parts" too. So glad I found one that works right. Our dog brings lots of joy to our family, so it's worth having the right equipment to keep him neat, clean, and comfortable (and free of frito feet!).

Wouldn't cut it.
I ordered these to do some small clipping on dogs and cats in a veterinary hospital, mostly for IV punctures. They failed to be able to clip adequately on 3 of the first 4 patients we tried them on. They could not handle a thick undercoat. I returned them. I will stick to using a Wahl mini ARCO. It works fantastic (just be careful about dropping as the case breaks easily.)

Good!! Same as the Sterling Mag/Beret
Same trimmer as the Sterling Mag and Beret for less. Decent trimmer for the money, but I will still rank it behind the cordless peanut. Wahl if your listening put a Lithium Ion battery in the peanut and make it as powerful as the plug in, I would buy many :)Download the manual and look for a replacement blade before purchasing and you will realize this is another re-badge. Good deal at $50, no way would I pay $90-100

Able to trim thick paw fur.
It does not have as much power as I thought it would. But it was strong enough to trim my dogs fur. She is an American cocker spaniel very sick fluffy fur. I think it will do well for a short while but I don’t feel like it’s gonna last.Putting that aside I really enjoy the size of it it works beautifully and paws.

Perfect if you have small dogs are small areas to shave
I had a bravado from wall that was 20 years old and still working great with only one blade change unfortunately you get knocked on the floor and broke into a gazillion pieces.Sorry I replaced it with this one seems very adequate very similar but be careful it will shave really close like what you get before surgery
