Can you tell when it is exhausted?** A: The instructions state that it can be used 30 times. There are little circles (1-30) on the box, so you can just mark off each time you use it. Other users have stated that they have been able to use the color grabber more than 30 times, but I haven't tried that. I don't use it for every wash - just when I have mixed colors in the wash or when I am washing a dark fabric for the first time and think it may run. **Q: Where are these made?** A: The Carbona Color & Dirt Grabbers are made in different part of the country. I got my first two from Joann Fabrics. Despite the short limit of use the box recommends, I used the first one for YEARS before my son mistook it for a washcloth. The second one I used for two decades before it finally disintegrated. I used both in every load of wash I did and they both kept my laundry from having bleeds in all the years I used them. So, I was happy to find this set of four and for a good price. I gifted one to my nephew and he hasn't turned his laundry pink even once since he started using his. Just a note, though, most often I was my clothes in cold water.
