I love them, easy to put up

We used the warm rope light to line a garden in front of our porch. It was very easy to secure with u-stakes inside the stone border. It's very warm and glowing, which we loved. It not only lights up the garden area but there is some nice residual light that accents other plants and trees close to the garden. The rope light is very strong but also very pliable adhering to the edges and around corners while we installed it. Made for easy work and no frustration. We ran the remaining light under our porch rug, ran it along the wall, hugging nicely and providing additional warm lighting. We plunged it right inside the door. Excellent price, excellent quality, and it will look great at Christmas time, too.

When rope light is used outdoors year round, the UV from the sun deteriorates the vinyl tubing. I do not know how to prevent this. This purchase replaces one that is about 5 years old. No separate power supply required, just plug it in. Small inline box contains transformer and diodes to convert AC to low voltage DC. Happy with this set. Comes with mounting clips, but I use cup hooks (box of 50 or 100 from Home Depot) which work very well. When used with 110 V power cord with remote control, also from HD, I can turn lights on or off from inside house (could use timer instead, but like the remote feature).

Installed this rope light around my 30 foot above ground pool under the railing for some nice indirect lighting. Please see photos the only reason for 4 stars is they are not totally waterproof because of the fuse door on the plug will take on moisture if left out in the rain. The lights are a warm yellowish color not too bright & enough that I don’t need my big flood lights on to navigate the yard.

Very bright compared to big box sellers of similar rope lights. Have used nightly with no fading or problems. Highly recommend.

These Blue Rope Lights Outdoor Waterproof, 50ft Waterproof Flat Flexible LED Strip Light really added that final layer that gave my newly painted house a beautiful night "POP" creating a wonderful night time glow these lights are simple to install I hooked them to a timer where they light up my back deck for 2-4 hours each evening. I've gotten quite a few compliments from neighbors and strangers who love the night time glow these lights give off. So certainly a 5- Star review they are beautiful and compliment the house color.

The brightness is great. I live in the country with no street lights. Once installed....These lights are wonderful. The only issue I had was with installing. The clips are tiny and the screws are even tinier and are not easy to insert into the clip, so attaching the clips to my house was not a pleasant experience. I spent a lot of time going up and down the ladder retrieving dropped clips and screws. My last set of lights lasted several years. Those were a different brand...so...I'll post an updated review after I've had these lights up for awhile.....hoping they stay lit for as long as the other brand. So far....I recommend these lights.
