No is don't need oil This compressor not reliable it will break vary fast My first one breaks after year, I bought another one and it brakes after one month I bought it because it's quiet and lightweight but if it's breaks it's no use for it

Depending on your altitude at best it's about .50 CFM. This is is a very light duty compressor. http://www.makita.ca/data/upload/owners_manuals/AC001%20-%20EN_owner_English.pdf We happen to be at 5280 PLUS so it is only used in light repair work for quick in and out of a job.But also very light weight and fairly quiet. Which is why we also have the MAC700 and the AC310. You can not try and make the wrong tool do a job right

Can i use it for a nailer?

Framing, roofing? No. Little trim nailer, brad nailer, just one at a time with that 1/2 cfm rating it has.
