Genuine Duncan Butterfly Yo-Yo Classic Toy - Red

I got this yo-yo for my eight-year-old grandson and he loves it and can do quite a few tricks with it already.

Purchased this for my son for Christmas and my husband took over playing with it. Brought back all the memories from when he was young. Works great, he could do all the old tricks he used to do. He said a yo yo “has to be a Duncan”. He was right. Very durable, well made and can withstand kids playing with it.

I was telling my son how fun these were when I was a kid (80's). So he did some chores for the neighbors to earn money the right way :) He checked amazon everyday to see when it was coming. When it showed up, I showed him a few old tricks I remembered. "walking the dog", "cat in the cradle", and "around the world" (which didnt look so good). It still has the best quality I had when I was a kid. He loves playing with it and has gotten better as time has past. Its a great beginner yoyo and you cant go wrong with the price for hours of fun. Yo-Yo'ing isn't exactly a competitor sport, but if you want to get good at it, get the industry standard. Duncan imperial or butterfly. Depending on what you want to do, either one has its ups and downs. Get it? Ups and downs? Anyway, Duncan's been around forever. Don't buy a gimmicky yo-yo that says it does all kinds of tricks. They all do. And the Duncans are balanced. I was once so good that I literally broke the end knuckle on the end of my finger with one of these. If you want to make a yo-yo scream, go with a Duncan. There is no better.

I’m a beginner so I don’t know a whole ton about yo-yos but this is a nice durable one for anyone who is ready to learn. My friend who is a yo-yo pro recommended it and it has not let me down at all. I recommend for anyone who is beginning and trying to learn some new tricks!

This is a classic ass got this yo-yo and I started doing all kind of tricks like walk the doll rock the cradle around the world and my grandson was so tickled

When I first got the yo yo it was great did everything I wanted it to do. Then a few days after I got the yo yo in the mail it started acting weird. It wouldn't sleep like it did when I first got it. The yo yo didn't play the same like when I first got it. But it is a good overall yo yo for a beginner and intermediate player. Jus wish that the build quality would have been jus a lil bit better then what I got.
