Kent Brushes Shampoo & Scalp Massage Brush - Ideal for Applying Shampoo and Massaging to Encourage Hair Growth - for All Hair Types - Purple

Having not used one before I didn't know what to expect but this one has quite stiff but soft 'bristles' I like how it feels it really does feel quite massage-ey just don't do circular motions if you have long hair! It does wash your hair too the shampoo and conditioner both distribute with this you just have to lather it a little first I find. I can't say for sure if it's stimulating hair growth but sure feels good! The only thing is it's not water tight so you do get bubbles and water inside that's then seemingly impossible to get out...!

I bought this on recommendation from my hairstylist who said I had build up on my scalp. I have very thick 4b curly hair so it's important to thoroughly clean the scalp. It's really good quality, been using it for months and no complaints. It did take some time for me to know how to best use it. At first I was putting too much pressure. Now I just pulse small sections at a time and do some circular moves. I'm aware there are cheaper dupes but I preferred to go with a reputable brand. Highly recommend

This shampoo brush will help to lather up your shampoo, and it also helps to massage the scalp too. I haven't had this item long enough to know how much it will help my scalp , but I guess it's better than your fingers, and will help anyone who has trouble with their hands with Arthritus for example. It helps you massage, wash the full scalp, where your hands may not necessarily cover the whole scalp. You really don't need as much shampoo as we think we do, especially when using this brush. I has leaked water inside it slightly which is why I've marked this down by one star.

I bought this one over others because of the brand but im surprised at the poor design. The bristles work fine, great in fact, but water collects inside the brush. I dont know if your meant to separate the bristles from the handle because it wasn't easy but I did and that would be fine as well, except that inside the handle, stuck down is some useless bit of coloured plastic which also collect a water behind it, but does not come off (I might have some success with a pointy implement and brute force), so its going to eventually be mouldy and manky behind there and I dont fancy washing my hair with mouldy water.

The shampoo brush took longer to arrive than expected, however, as a retired hairdresser,I have to say that its the best one I've ever used.Ergonomically its so good as it fits the palm of a hand so well.Shows that Kent are still producing top quality brushes!

Very useful for exfoliating the scalp and lathering up the shampoo. I suffer from stress induced scalp psoriasis which flares up from time to time and this really helps give a good thorough wash. The only thing I would say against it is that it can be difficult to grip if you have small hands.

Unfortunately I find the teeth on this shampoo brush to be too hard and quite sharp. It's painful and would do more harm than good. I prefer the softer silicone teeth.

Works easily without actually scratching up my scalp like the ones with pointy tips do!
