JIF MarineEQB4 Over Platform Telescoping Boat Ladder, 4-Step

As an fyi, as mentioned by other reviewers, there are no mounting instructions, or hardware. However, it is a simple install, with 1/4" stainless steel bolts. I haven't tested it out yet, but I am concerned about the ladder not hanging straight down. It is at a slight angle. I looked at it many, many times before I installed, and there is only one way to install. I actually had to go online and verify that I got the over the platform model that I had ordered. I'm 6'2", 230, and the main reason I ordered this ladder was because of the higher weight capacity, but with it not hanging straight down, I am concerned. I guess I'll find out on the water, lol. Other than that I'd give it 5 stars.

Used this to replace the front sliding/flip ladder on my 2016 AR240. The factory unit would not reach the water and was useless for water-boarding. Wait...water boarding? Anyway, this unit makes it easy to board from the water and is as well built as the OEM unit.

Terrific product. Everybody loves it because getting into the boat is so much easier!Beware that it will come with NO installation instruction or hardware!!!! (I guess to relieve them from liability.).Not exactly knowing what I was doing I took off the old broken ladder and installed new one in same place. I purchased stainless hardware at Home Depot to install the ladder and it is holding well so far.If it holds up like I think it will it's a Home Run!Buy it

I replaced the silly two step ladder that came standard on our boat with this four step ladder. What a difference. When you are older you learn to appreciate things like this upgrade. I was able to remove the two rung ladder portion from my mounts and the mounts off of this four rung ladder, enabling a perfect replacement. That is not always the case with many manufacturers.

I had a two step ladder and it was super hard getting back into the boat. Although the width of the steps could be a little greater, it still is an excellent value for the money. Now we have no problem getting back onto the boat.

I replaced my 2 step ladder that came with the 26' cruiser with built in platform and recessed ladder compartment.. Here are the benefits:1. It is much easier for both young and old to get on board.2. Both the ladder and bracket are built stronger3. it fit in the same space as my old ladder.4. Installation was just a couple of hours including filling old holes with epoxy.

Seemed a little flimsy after installing while the boat was on the trailer. After using the ladder in the water I'm very pleased with the construction, it works very well.

I am so happy with this ladder. Easy to go down and climb back up, and the flat bars make it more comfortable for the feet. I recommend 100%
