Superior 14-0490 Load Control Springs For Rear Shock Absorbers

The kit bolts were too short. I had to buy longer ones. Other than that they do work as advertised..

Order came earlier than predicted. I used on EZGO, ST 480 on front. They were, cheaper, better, and easier to install than original springs. Got rid of sag, and added about 2 or more of additional lift from original. Actually rides better , not as harsh.

This is a good product, it is doing its job quite well. However, they would not fit over the stock shocks on the vehicle they were bought for. I put them on my smaller P/U, they work great. Doesn't effect the ride when not loaded, but allows a heaver load without bottoming out the suspension.

They work ok. However, they needed quite a bit of work to make them fit. I put them on a 1999 Ranger. The cut outs in the clamps were too small. They were obviously designed for much older vehicles that had small diameter shocks. I used this style back in the 60's and 70's, but todays vehicles have a larger diameter shock body. I had to enlarge the part of the clamp that goes around the shock, and then had to buy longer bolts to accommodate them.Fortunately I have all the equipment here to make them fit. But if someone doesn't have that (and the know how), they wouldn't fit.Still, they did what I needed them to do. Raise the rear of a sagging rear end back to normal.

Very pleased with this purchase. Bought these to adjust the body attitude of a '40's Willys Jeep (for some reason they all naturally sit a little crooked). Other reviews complained of lacking hardware or wrong color, yet mine came with all necessary hardware and fit my Monroe reproduction shocks perfectly. This is a universal fit item and the instructions supplied explained some common installation problems for some vehicles, so your "fit's perfectly" mileage may vary. Listing shows red springs, box they came in showed blue, but inside were red springs. I painted mine olive drab anyway, installed them with one corner slightly "pre-loaded" to level the vehicle, and I'm happy.

If you're looking to increase the load rating on E-Z-Go or Club Car golf carts with rear seating but don't want to sacrifice ride quality (like higher rated leaf springs do) - this is what you need.Bolt on for E-Z-Go with lift kits, springs must be shortened for all other applications.I've installed several sets and all customers were impressed. I keep extra sets on hand because they're INEXPENSIVE!Less that 1 hour to install even if they have to be shortened.

the bolts were too short , had to buy new ones ,grind the u brackets to fit and bend the top spring supports to fit . i have the shocs recomended to fit so it was not that. im not impressed at all with the expense and buying other bolts to make the kit work. could have bought coilovers for the cost with no mucking about. would not reccommend to anyone '. thanks very much i did not need the hassle.
