These are high quality, well built headphones with sound quality and clarity that rival my other headphones that cost several times more. I purchased this brand because of the excellent experience I had with their Bluetooth set for TV watching that my wife has laid claim to. & their customer service which is excellent (a rare commodity this day and age)! They are very comfortable on the ear headphones that can be worn for hours. The sound reduction mode is effective but not complete silence that is improved with the power on, though sound quality is good without power on. The gold & black style is attractive and tastefully done. Battery life with power on noise reduction is over 20 hrs and if batteries need recharge you can keep listening without a dramatic loss in sound quality but not as good noise reduction. They easily connect to all my devices with a simple plug in or provided adapters. I haven’t used the dual pronged airline adapter yet but will be soon.

Sound quality is superb, especially the base! Let me preface by saying I am in no way a headphone expert, nor headphone snob. This review is just my observations of a good set of headphones, as compared to my daily driver headphones. Ok, on to the show... My baseline headphones are a pair of Sennheiser HD 280 Pro monitor headphones. The Sennheiser HD 280s are a closed-back, over-the-ear design. This means the ear cups are a little oversized and oval in shape to go around the ear. Being monitor headphones, the frequency response is more flat, rather than heavily bass-boosted like some popular brand headphones. These MONODEAL headphones have a slightly smaller ear cup, so they sit more on my ear, rather than around them, causing slightly more pressure on my noggin while wearing them. Also, these headphones are bass-heavy when listening. I know many people like that, but I've become accustomed to the more flat, natural response of the monitor headphones. Nothing wrong with these, just not what I'm used to now. Noise cancelling - yup, it works. These MONODEAL headphones are the first noise-cancelling headphones I've owned, and they do work. I do not have any experience with the Sony or Bose noise cancelling, so I can't compare with those (that appear to be class leaders, maybe? <shrugs>), but these do cancel out noise. These are nice looking headphones without being super flashy. Subdued stylish, if you will. Of course, looks are a personal matter, so others may not agree, but I do not mind their look. Not much more to say - good sound, good value, good looks. Just not *great* in any category for my tastes.

This headphone is a very simple wired headset with basic functions. Very little to go wrong. The Active noise canceling was awesome, considering how inexpensive this was. I wore them yesterday for 4 hours in an equiment room with many motors and fans. The ANR reduced the low frequency rumble and I was able to listen to my MP3 player at a much reduced volume when the ANR was activated. Battery life is exceptional. I usually have a low tolerance for the "pinching headset" but I didnt even notice them until I took them off. Very little pinch :)

Found this wired headset & microphone (and connections kit) to be faithful to the "advertising"/specifications. I was surprised by only a couple of things: the noise cancelling did more than just mask out noise - it significantly improved sound quality. The size of the ear cups at first seemed too small, but w/ use, for several hours, they were still comfortable (and not sweaty like the surrounding cups often are). Also, the fine leather material and secure attachments was a pleasant surprise. The headband, cushioning, and size adjustments are good, and as always, time will tell about durability. Actually, not a gamble for me because I know the seller has that issue covered. Compactness, light wt., and portability are neat - partly because the bands collapse at "the elbows", creating a nice fit into the molded carrier. Overall, very pleased w/ this purchase.

I am very pleased with this product. I haven't had a chance to write a review until now, but I must say it is very well made. I recently just tested it out at my local Starbucks, where I sit by a very loud speaker known for its habitually loud music, and although it does not fully eradicate the noise, it attenuates it so that it is not distracting or abrasive to the ears. Another interesting feature is that even without the active noise cancelling setting turned on, you can still listen to audio on your phone or computer at a reduced sound (you cannot enable the active noise cancellation and allow playback at the same time), BUT it still has really greed noise canceling capacity even when not turned on. I think it’s pretty well designed. I will pretty excited to test it out at the library of my university, which is known to have college kids practically yelling when they're talking, especially on the first floor and often on the second floor. It also very comfortable and exceptionally made. It comes with a nice, solid case (not just cheap fabric) to house the headsets so that they don't get damaged, which many other sellers Amazon do not include. I like the fact that it doesn't have Bluetooth features, which I specifically tried to find when buying a product because I am concerned about radiation exposure to such a sensitive part of my body. Overall, I would say it is a good buy for the money. Also, I forgot to mention, the headsets expand/ shrink so they fit your face based on your head size and that the noise cancelling is rechargeable. All you have to do is plug it in to your laptop. The more I use it, the more I love it!

While the sound quality is good, these headphones sit on your ears, not over your ears. I should have paid more attention before I ordered the product. After and hour or two on the airplane, my ears hurt and I changed to the cheap headphones that the airlines provide for free. I would not buy these again, but maybe the fit would not bother others.

I ordered this headset for use when travelling especially long haul flights. For the price I didn't expect Bose quality but I hoped that it would produce decent quality sound while drowning out at least some of the outside noise. When I first opened the box, the first thing I noticed was the cheap quality of the whole set especially the the little box to control the noise cancelling features. It felt like very cheap plastic. I decided to persevere, however and followed instructions to plug in the box and charge it up for noise cancelling action. After a few minutes (or perhaps even less) the red charging light went out indicating that it was fully charged according to the instructions. I tried out the headset and switched the noise cancelling sound to "on" only to hear silence. I switched it back to "off" and could hear my audio. I tried charging it several times but with no luck. Sound would only play when the button was switched to off. As for the quality of the sound, it was passable but my daughter has a headset which we bought for $15 which has far clearer sound. I tried switching between the two sets and had to crank up the volume considerably to achieve the same sound on this headset. Not worth the $39 paid for it. I decided to return it. I had been hoping for something much better for the investment.

I bought these as a last minute buy for an overseas trip, glad I did, they were very useful on a noisy flight. They give good noise reduction and I found them to be very comfortable when wearing for an exteneded period of time. The charge time for the noise reduction was great, still plenty of charge after 8 hours of flying. Priced well.
