Simply miraculousโฆno really!
OK Iโm trying to think of a way to write this review where it seems like a real honest critique of these devices because everything I wanna say is going to sound like an overly enthusiastic fake ad. I bought a lot of garbage off Amazon in the past and some of my reviews I was shocked to see they wouldnโt allow me to publish but to be totally honest Iโve never purchased anything that was life-changing like these things are. I have a severe problem with a drop foot both feet for 3 years due to neuropathy, I had a fall at least once a month, had to walk with a cane, and was becoming more and more immobile which made my other health conditions worse. I struggled with the cost of the expensive orthotics and I read a lot of reviews like this one so I decided to give these a try. I was not optimistic when they arrived, they seemed flimsy and cheap. Im over 200lbs, 6โ3โ and wear 13s. How was this little piece of plastic going to make a difference much less hold up? So I gave them a try, the only difficult part was getting my shoe on over them I didnโt have to trim them at all since my feet are so big they were actually a perfect fit but once I got my shoes stretched out a little this wasnโt so bad. The small velcro straps fell off and are worthless, I donโt need them anyway they work fine for me with only the big padded top strap. Walking with them was a little awkward at first I just had to tell myself to walk natural and I learn to trust the orthotics within a few weeks it was unbelievable the difference. Zero falls or even close calls since I put these on. I felt much more secure, My walking has improved dramatically, Iโm getting away from having to use the cane but I still feel naked without it. Even exercising is easier with these, my feet stay on my bike pedals and there is no fear on my treadmill they have helped me continue to lose weight (down 100lbs+ in a year). They seem to be holding together well even after wearing them 24hrs straight a few times, yep I even slept in them. There is nothing I have ever purchased for so little that has benefited me so much, literally a life saver.

Excellent Item!
Ordered this for my husband. He's had a left dropped foot for 20 years. He's always worn a custom made orthotic from the medical supplier. $500+. He would be reluctant to wear in summer cause it's too obvious.... In any case, I thought it was time to search on Amazon.... Amazon did not disappoint me. I ordered this orthotic and he loves it. Feels like he has nothing on. It's super comfortable w the padding around the top. The only negative is that the securing band slips a bit. No big deal, just have to adjust when that happens. My husband wears an 11w shoe or sneaker and this fits perfectly w room to spare. I did not have to cut anything off. The price was very affortable. If it only lasted a year, we'd still love it and would just order it again and again. It's also a good 2/3 inches lower than the original orthotic. The only other improvement would be if it were made in a skin tone. It would be even less noticeable. BTW.... my husband wears it on top of his sock, so sock is next to his skin. It will avoid possible skin irritation. It's a win-win item. Worth every penny; no tripping, fits in shoes & sneakers; not clumsy; affordable; not so high up the calf.... GREAY ITEM. Give it a try!

Watch for Skin Abrasions
These braces are very effective for assisting with walking for those with Drop Foot. However, because the hooked side of the Velcro tab is the exact width of the band it is to be attached to the Velcro band must be attached EXACTLY right or else it causes skin abrasions; not easy to fasten it perfectly when doing it yourself. A simple fix was to trim off about 1/4 inch from each side right up to the soft fabric band. Hopefully the manufacturer will see this and remedy the product.

Waste of money
This is the third one Iโve tried. It does help me walk better, but exacerbates my hammer toes. Was very difficult to cut down for correct size. After a couple of months of use, the Velcro lost its grip an and the product was pretty much useless. Of course, this happened after the window for return was closed. Donโt waste your money on this item .

Great but not for me.
They did an excellent job of correcting my foot drop condition. They were lightweight, easy to use, and achieved immediate results. Unfortunately, on my right leg the device rubbed the back of my Achilles tendon and caused a blister. I had to stop using them and purchased devices that are not worn near the back of the ankle.

Easy to use
Was told by a physical therapist that this would help my grandma with her walking with a little more stability with her drop foot

Bad quality assurance, Decent brace
The braces themselves function, but the construction of them is almost comical. I bought both a left and a right version. The left version came with no padding on the top back portion, just a cheap velcro strap that fits awkwardly, is glued directly onto the plastic, and the plastic uncomfortably digs into my calf through the day. The ankle strap was also glued on but peeled off on the first use. The right version came with no ankle strap, just a 1 inch piece of velcro riveted into the plastic. The ankle strap seems negligible since they are worn with shoes anyway, but the lack of padding on the left version is pretty bad.

Effective for Severe Drop Foot
I suffer from a periferal neuropathy known as CMT. My desease has left me with severe "drop foot" in both feet making me very suseptable to tripping and falling. Fortunately however I have very slight abnormality in foot structure which is often common with this desease. Because my foot profile was close to normal, my neurologist suggested I try an "off the shelf" AFO to alleviate the drop foot. He suggested this over a custom made AFO which could cost several thousand dollars. My search for a device lead me to the BraceOn AFO sold by Amazon. I first bought one for my left foot to try it out. I was so impressed I soon bought one for my right foot. It takes a little getting used to and you need to experiment with different shoe sizes and inserts but the product really does work! It is light weight and with a little coaxing will fit in my sneakers. You may have to buy a half size larger sneaker or shoe but I have found it has really improved my walking at a very reasonable price. Updated comment: I have been using the product now for several weeks. It is great!! My only complaint is how can I get replacement calf pads? They are white and after many days of use will get dirty. It wouild be great if I could get a contact no. for BraceOn to contact them for repleacements.

Good product
The product could do with a bit more lift back towards the foot from the toes to hold the foot up more

Very big help with drop foot
This brace works wonderful, helps keep my foot in place as well as very sturdy. The two velcro straps hold everything in place and I don't think it would work as well with some of the ones I see with just one strap. The ankle strap is needed as much as the calf strap. Great product at a very reasonable price!!!

Flimsy and crazy long shipping time
The opening on the heel makes shoes hard to get on and off. The vertical portion by the ankle is not stiff enough, Itโs quite flimsy. The shipping time was ridiculously long. For something temporary while I wait for my custom one to be built, it works fair.
